I'm playing back a Recording and it keeps freezing at the same spot. It freezes (playback completely stops) and goes back to the menu after around 10 seconds.
I can't seem to get NextPVR to find any channels with my two HDHRs. The Devices list shows my tuners and when I select on and request a Scan, it goes through the frequencies but does not find anything. My firewall is turned off. Log file attached...
I have experienced a random problem with ver 2.4.3 where recording do not stop at their scheduled time. The latest one occurred last night. The Daily Show started at 11:00 and should have ended at 11:30 pm. But, the recording continued all night until I stopped it about 8:45 this morning, nearly 9 hours later with a 15 GB file. I believe this problem started after I installed the patch for "occasional video pause after comskip jump".
I'm having trouble linking "The Voice" which is a US Show with TV Listings. It's searching correctly for "Voice" and as I scroll through the show list I can find it, I select it, I create a link but it never seems to "link".
It would be nice to have the option on a per recording or series basis to have it use some form of compression/conversion with various levels of quality that I could choose from or default to.
Currently I believe there is a problem with multiple copies of handbrake running at the same time. Although I can run it myself manually and have multiple copies going, the second recordings compression process fails when it runs now in my POSTPROCESSING.bat file. I would have to use something like GUIDEPLUS, but this only allows one at a time. I've got a multicore system, I'd like to be able to have a number of processes running concurrently to fully utilize it. Comskip, compression, etc.
Have I missed something? How do you handle the process of recording, comskip, compression, and possibly movement of your shows?
I've just installed v 2.4.3 - when watching live Tv and switching channesl I do not see any EPG info overlay. Should this not display for a few seconds when I change channels?
The only overlay I see is if I hover my mouse over the screen - then I see the live tv record buffer.
I've checked the settings over and over but can't see anything. What am I doing wrong?
It would be nice if when streaming UPnP video with the Universe plugin the duration of the video could be obtained such that one could pause the video and skip forward and back (it currently shows 0:00 and I am not able to skip forward). In particular I am interested in this for Playon where I can pause playback for a while and let a portion of the video be transcoded after which I can skip ahead over parts I am not interested in watching. I don't know if this is possible in NPVR but I was able to do this when I used the SageTV UPnP client.
I read an article (http://www.missingremote.com/news/2012-0...m-channels) that DirecTv has already enabled HDCP on HBO and will add others soon. Wonder how long before they HDCP the whole thing? Makes my Collossus sad.
There is also rumor on the above site that they will down res the component out to 540p to "accomodate" older TVs.
1. In a failed recording where it says the signal was bad, is that show still in the system as one that will be re-attempted in the future? Even if it's new and the next recording is hours later or could be months later.
2. When the TV Listing/guide is incorrect and I get a recording of something I didn't want, the DB will show it as recording properly. How do I remove that or reschedule the program for another time? It would be nice to be able to do this from the GUI.
