I noticed when scheduling a recording for March 10-11 during the time change in the United States that the times are off by one hour after the time change takes place lasting until 8:00am at which time all shows seem to be back on schedule. A show that is scheduled to air during this period doesn't even show up to record.
Alphas - Pilot - 3-10 - 10:30pm-12:00am
Alphas - Cause & Effect - 3-11 - 12:00am-1:00am
Alphas - Anger Management - 3-11 - 1:00am-3:00am (this allows for the time change at 2am to 3am)
Alphas - Rosetta - 3-11 - 3:00am-4:00am
Alphas - Never Let Me Go - 4:00am-5:00am
This is how it shows in MediaPortal but in nPVR it shows "Anger Management" ending at 3, then "Never Let Me Go" airing from 3:00am to 4:00am. "Rosetta" never even shows up and "Never Let Me Go" is an hour early, as is everything else in the TV Guide after 2am until 8am March 11. "The Twilight Zone" is the first to show at the right time of 8am. Weird. Hopefully this is easy to fix. I've included portion of the xmltv epg from mc2xml. Thank you.
I am starting to move everything over to nPVR from MP. I'm also starting to miss episode numbers. That's another thread for later. One of those "please add in next release" pleas.
Here's the way it shows in the xml that nPVR and MP are using for EPG. Don't know how to make it show in a fancy window, sorry.

I want to use a newer version of the taglib-sharp.dll that sub distributes with NPVR for use . I know that I get version errors in the code if the same version dll that is referenced in my C# project. Is the dll assembly lookup smart enough to match on the dll version if two of the same named dll's are found? Specifically could my plugin use a dll in Common and NextPVR continue to use the old one in ProgramFiles?
Had a quick search and couldn't easily find an answer - I am having a problem with the 2.3.6 aspect ratios. Specifically, I cannot get 4:3 encoded avi files to stretch to fullscreen on my 16:10 screen.
I know this worked in previous releases, and I have checked my config to ensure that the fill option is definitely 0,0,1,1. I have also tried changing setting my display as 4:3 or 16:9 in the config, but no matter what I set, when I cycle through the aspect ratio modes, the video obstinately refuses to enlarge past a 4:3 box in the middle of the screen. This is especially annoying as I accidentally encoded a bunch of 16:9 videos as 4:3, so although I previously overcome that with "fill" mode, they are now just squidged up in the middle of the screen
Not sure if this is an NPVR or a decoder question though, as I had initial upgrade problems so did a clean reinstall with 2.3.6 and used SAF6. 16:9 videos play correctly though, and I would have thought that the fill settings shouldn't be affected by the decoder?
I will have another poke around in the decoder settings, but if anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears
EDIT: Changing decoders and renderers doesn't have any effect.
Ok, I'm using an HDhomerun as my primary source, and only an HD antenna hooked up to that for over the air channels. I have two computers both running XP SP3, which were both working with gbpvr previously. I finally decided to take the plunge and move up to NextPVR. Somehow on one of my computers I was able to scan in the channels from the HDhomerun. The other I can't seem to make a connection. I swear I've got every port open in the firewall for all the Npvr programs. Both my computers have the same firewall exceptions from what I see. I've been afraid to make another attempt to scan in the channels on the computer that is working. I think I scanned them in before the latest update of HDhomerun, which now gives you the choice of Nextpvr as the application I'm using. The computer that is not working was updated before I attempted to scan in the channels. I am going to include the logs from both computers in hopes that someone else might help to point me in the right direction.
Logs is from the computer that is working with the hdhomerun.
Npvrlogs is from the computer that won't scan in the channels.
On the computer that is scanning in the channels I made an attempt to get programming data from the stream. I never got anything when it attempted in scan in the programming guide. So I then set up Mc2xml as a source for programming guide data. When I try and switch any of the channels to use XML type of guide data it just switches back to DVB/ATSC EPG. Any ideas with this?
Hi
I am trying to set up my PCH A110 with mcpmc but have encountered a strange problem.
I have been using NPVR for a while and had no problems.
When I use NMTInstall2 to set up mvpmc, I only seem to get the following files in the mvpmc share and no files are installed on the PCH.
mvpmcx2
mvpmcx2.7z
NMTInstall.xml
I have seen reference to npvr.html and npvr.cgi but cannot find any of these on my system.
I am using NPVR 2.3.6 with patches R1 on Windows 7 Pro.
I have checked the share on my PC works correctly and can be seen from the PCH.
I have used the default C:\mpvmc directory.
The attached screenshot and log show TV Listings 3.6 beta behaving oddly ...
Start NPVR and open TV Listings
Click on a show.
The details popup appears as a small picture in the grid but does not expand to full size.
Press right arrow key and popup expands to full size.
Nothing in the popup works properly .. Quick Record does nothing.
I have attempted to fix by ...
Reloading EPG data.
Re-installing TV Listings.
Re-installing NPVR.
Getting Windows 7 up to date with Windows Update.
I have had this issue for a while and hoped after a few versions it would sort itself
After playing a video for more than about 10 minutes and I stop the video it takes ages to go back to the recordings screen (anything from 5-10 seconds)
Seems to be worse once recordings start at night but its random when it does do it
Does anyone else have this happening?
