i have a little problem after switching from 2.2.6 to 2.3.6.
I uninstalled the 2.2.6 completely, and removed the folder in the public one. I removed even any registry entry. The only thing i left was the npvr.db.
Then i did a clean installation of NPVR 2.3.6 without any further plugins. I can't start the recordingservice anymore because of this error:
Code:
Der Dienst kann nicht gestartet werden. System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: SQLite error
no such table: EPG_GENRE
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLite3.Prepare(SQLiteConnection cnn, String strSql, SQLiteStatement previous, UInt32 timeoutMS, String& strRemain)
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.BuildNextCommand()
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.GetStatement(Int32 index)
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteDataReader.NextResult()
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteDataReader..ctor(SQLiteCommand cmd, CommandBehavior behave)
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior behavior)
bei System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.ExecuteDbDataReader(CommandBehavior behavior)
bei System.Data.Common.DbCommand.ExecuteReader()
bei NShared.EPGManager..ctor()
bei NShared.RecordingService..ctor()
bei NRecord.RecordingService.OnStart(String[] args)
bei System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)
Any hint how i could insert the missing table without messing too much around on the server? Without deleting npvr.db? ^^
Does anyone knows a good (online-) translator? While i can understand most english stuff well enough, there are situations were the school english just isn't enough. And as you can read yourself: writing english isn't my biggest strength.
Until now i tried the well known "babelfish translator", "google translator" and "microsoft translator".
The microsoft translator is useless, the results are often enough wrong and doesn't make any sense.
Babelfish doesn't make good translations either ... as an example it translates "sub" into "submarine/unterseeboot" which can only happens, because it translates word for word and not a whole sentence.
Google translator is a little better, but often enough the translations are wrong enough or just doesn't make sense too.
I am not talking about translating chinese, russia, japanese or something else exotic into german sentences. It's just around translating english to german, which should be really easy, because english and german language are related.
So i would be really grateful for any hint or tip to useful translators. I would even pay for a translator.
A recent post indicated that they can't perceive the new highlighting of currently playing shows. On my NMT it is really drastic (image no border), on the PC it is a little more subtle. If you don't see them maybe check colourspace, contrast and brightness settings.
I have installed an Astrum TV-PCI card in a Windows XP SP3 PC with DirectX 9 and the card does not show up in the device menu.
The device works fine with the proprietry software supplied. I have tried uninstalling the software to ensure that it does not interfere with NEXT PVR but to no avail.
Any ideas?:confused:
Quote: - added some logic for accessing the NextPVR UI via html, using http://<server>:8866/touch/client.html. This is still quite rough at this stage, but hopefully will be usable example for people experimenting with rolling their own basic clients for smartphones or tablets or maybe Roku etc. You cant play music/video at this stage, but there is beginnings of support for it. If developers find this useful, then I'll take it further. Thanks Brian greatly improving the html/javascript.
For those of you who may have spotted the above in the change log this is just to provide some further information.
As sub says, it is a bit rough but it provides some interesting potential for new client apps. Probably of most interest for potential developers but I've created a page on the wiki which explains a bit more about how things work and the various scripts.
Apologies to the Wiki keepers - I couldn't work out a better place to put it.
I've created an Android demo app which works OK (bearing in mind this is all experimental) - see the end of the wiki page. It plays music and video on my phone but needs relevant 3rd party apps installed. I'll be providing some limited support but no promises.
I've created a thread for developers and non-developers to provide a point for discussion...
I don't see this thread as a support thread for what is available at the moment - it would be nice to hear from developers and users of various client platforms that can use this new feature in order to find out about its potential.
The new blu-ray rip/folder support is great but I'm not getting the option to resume playback like I did when I selected the .bdmv file directly before.
