I decided to try out your Android UI client on an older Android 9 4k MBOX. Installation went fine but when I launch it all I get is a black screen. Here is the logcat from when I launched it.
Do you see anything odd there? Is Android 9 supported?
This looks a little odd to me. I'm not sure what it's "discovering" but it doesn't seem to find anything.
Code:
08-05 12:21:18.227 7900 7900 D uidroid-discovery: discovery start
08-05 12:21:18.228 7900 7900 D uidroid-discovery: about to wait to receive
08-05 12:21:23.234 7900 7900 D uidroid-discovery: discovery end
I am running Kodi 20.2 and have NextPVR running behind an nginx proxy (https).
I have set the plugin to use HTTPS protocol using the XML settings file (it would be great if this setting was user facing) everything seems to run smoothly however the guide images are not fetched (and recordings) strangly if I set the 'remote access' feature the recording images do get fetched but still not the guide. I am unsure what the remote access feature actually does since the reverse proxy would handle all connection forwarding?
Is there a reason why guide images do not work remotely?
I've just done a vulnerability scan of my NextPVR server and it's flagged that it had an old version of jQuery installed. the reported version I am using is 6.1.4.230625
I started my free trial of SD, and plan to subscribe as soon as I actually get it working with NextPVR. The problem is: no matter how often I restart the server or try to refresh listings, I never get any listings at all.
I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 and login to SD seems to work fine, the device is a Hauppauge WinTV Dual HD (which is why you'll see two devices in the relevant screenshot), I'm just using an HD antenna, the EPG sources seem to be set up correctly, the channels have scanned correctly, but still, nothing.
I appreciate any help--I hate to ask for it, but I've really run out of things to try based on searches of similar problems.
Im looking for NextPVR's server URL for M3U and XMLTV.
I have found in another post, the adresses (URL) below, but unfortunately the URL's doesn't work and I get the following error:
>> This page contains the following errors: error on line 1 at column 1: Document is empty Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error. <<
Trying to get NextPVR running on Mint. When I try to scan for channels, I have no luck finding anything. The drop-down menu is totally blank. The tuner is identified adapter0/frontend0 (Realtek RTL2832 (DVB-T)) The connection to the antenna works fine when plugged into the TV directly. Any ideas?
Windows failure, new installation, I can't seem to log in to configure the server. I just want to scan for channels! I suspect if I log out here I won't be able to log back in. I changed the password I was sent in my control panel but got no verification.
I just need to scan for some channels. I want my mommie!
When I try to play the channel I get the following error; Streaming Failed (transcoder exited).
The URL is correct, but obviously I'm not doing something right.
Log files are attached.
I updated to the latest 6.1.4 version and it's running fine.
One thing I noticed is that instead of a 10 second skip in the video when I use the right arrow key, it now brings up a small video strip which highllights different times within the video in 10 second intervals.
Is it possible to use the old function of just skipping the video forward 10 seconds?
How can I program this?
Thanks.
So, I finally went ahead and loaded the new version of NextPVR from my prior version of 4.?
I have used NextPVR in my Kodi HTPC for the past 7 years (I originally ran TVheadend) and it has been flawless.
Anyways, I loaded the new version and it did not bring over my previously recorded programs. I set the folder to the same, etc... Tried to import them but to no avail.
I did recover them in my Kodi by assigning them into a separate media source so its not that I lost them completely.
Any help? I did have to uninstall my prior version of NextPVR completely because the new version would not load until I did so (error message).
I realize that its no big deal but the OCD tech geek in me wants it to blend in (yes, I'm the guy who will keep tweaking his Linux and Windows programs until they look and operate with everything).
Other than that the new version works fantastic so far.
