Having an odd problem with NMT live TV. I get twenty seconds, then a stutter, then the same twenty seconds repeated, it keeps going round the loop until I hit the stop button. I tried with both the PCTV-T2 tuner on HD and the Hauppauge Nova-T 500 on SD with the same result, the tuner appears to drop out after the first twenty seconds (the LED on the tuner goes off anyway). Playing live TV on the PC is fine, as are recordings. This is following a full win7 re-install, then installed NPVR and mvpmcx2 using the dummies guide, this was a couple of days ago, it was working fine before the re-install. Logs attached, I tried watching HD, then SD on the NMT, then watched TV on the PC. I have tried restarting the PC and the NMT.
I have a directory full of undeleted live TV buffer files if that makes a difference.
I currently have a HDHR and HDPVR. The HDHR is tuner 1 and 2 and the HDPVR is tuner 3. When recording With the HDHR I have no problems with the correct channels and the mappings are identical. But when something is recording on the HDPVR and I try to watch live tv on the HDHR tuner 2, I get a problem when trying to watch NBC. It will lock onto PBS kids instead of NBC. This only happens with the 1 channel and only happens with live tv. I have tested the tuner while recording and it locks onto NBC fine. Any ideas what could be wrong?
it seems the video inset window is activated with home key, but i can't get back to full-screen with home...
Unless i go all the way back to main menu, then home works to undo video inset..
Bug?
in recordings screen, hitting it twice does work...but no way i can see to get back to fullscreen in video library...
kinda makes using it cumbersome, as you lose your place in npvr and have to navigate back to where you were..
i tried putting a key in video section of keymappings.xml to no avail...even tried mapping 'end' key to "home/inset" but didn't work..
is this slated to be fixed or intentional?
Thanx
Since upgrading my iphone to IOS 5 I can't login with it whereas it works fine from google chrome on my laptop.
Anyone else have this problem or have any clues how to fix it?
Looking at web.log it seems the password hash value doesn't match
I'm having a funny problem with several of my new recordings. They are made with nPVR and will not play the sound on these (one of them actually plays about 2 seconds of sound and then nothing. They play fine when played through MPC, but not with GraphStudio. Looking at the MediaInfo for the files shows that the sound is AAC, but the logs show that it is trying to render it using the AC3 encoder. My guess is that the first second or two has AC3 and the rest is AAC. MPC seems to go with the flow better and simply changes renderers. nPVR and GraphStudio seem to pick up the format from the beginning and can't deal with a change. Any suggestions for trying to fix this?
BTW, h.264 recordings in .ts containers. Not all recordings, but a significant number.

After installing NPVR, I can scan, and get about 150, but none work. They worked in GBPVR, and they work in WMC. I just get a black screen. Log files are attached...
I have moved fromSageTV to this product and I am trying to watch some of my old recordings. While watching them I am using the FF and REW buttons to skip commercials. The strange thing is that it seems to only respond to the button once and thenignores it. Is there a setting to correct this?
I use 3 different xmltv files for my listings. Recently the genre info (therefore genre color) and xmltvextra info has gone missing from the channels from two of them. The info is in the xmltv files, but does not seem to be getting brought in to the tvlistings database. It looks like only data from the first file processed by xmltvextras is getting imported.
How can we debug this? Is there a log file somewhere? Or what else would be useful to debug this?
I've spent hours on this... I recently had GBPVR installed, and it worked perfectly. I cleaned my computer out and installed NPVR. When I scan for channels, I get 150 Unknown / Encrypted channels, and none work. I think I've tried everything.
Help?!?
