There are times when I wish there was a clock with current time that shows with the OSD when watching a recording . Kodi has a clock at the top right when the OSD is showing during a video.
I did a screen copy from uidroid and added a possible clock location at the bottom right.
I have updated NextTool with a mechanism that allows you to queue post and parallel processing until later, typically after the EPG update to reduce the impact on the server during prime recording time. I personally use it to defer the creation of thumbs and comskip until overnight since I rarely watch recordings the same day. User with a fast enough CPU probably won't need this but I have found it very handy so far.
Is there documentation anywhere for this? Can I through whatever I want in this bat file and it'll just be called by the app after process or will it actually have an impact on the recording itself? I'm wondering if my postprocessing.bat to move files around is why I'm getting this "ffempg exited. Likely end of VOD." error on my IPTV recordings.
Did a new install of NextPVR version 6.1.4.230625 on Windows 11. Trying to update the EPG and it will not download. I am logged in correctly to Schedules direct and have the correct lineup chosen. The dialog box says Requesting channel listings 10-20 of 49 from Schedules direct. It sticks on that prompt for about 10 mins or so then does the regular EPG update on the 2 channels that are not on Schedules direct. Is this an issue with the new version of NextPVR or is the Schedules Direct server down?

I am really leaning on nextpvr only workstation at this point with these oddball errors that show nothing in the support forums upon searching. Super frustrating. I purposely torched my database and removed everything in an attempt to get nextpvr to be the pillar of stability of my windows 10 days.
I am getting a lot of shows that record fine with no errors and show as *.ts files with * being filename assigned by nextpvr. Then, I check back later when recording finished and they are given a *.ts.old extension and of course that doesn't even register as a video at this point in any app I choose to process or view them.
See attached logs. No idea on this one but assuming it will be somewhat obvious when you look at logs. Not even sure that nextpvr is doing this either, could be kodi for that matter or anything with write permission.
Hello, I am a long time user of NextPVR used with Hauppauge Colossus series capture cards.
Recently my Colossus1 card failed, and as it is discontinued, I replaced it with the Colossus2.
I use it to capture from my STB (MySkyHDi box)
I am encountering a strange issue when watching live TV with NextPVR.
It appears to be some kind of interlace type issue, and the picture basically stutters and strobes constantly.
I only came up with the interlace theory, as when I change the STB's video output from 1080i to 720p, it works perfect.
If I change it back to 1080i, then everything stutters and strobes.
I use the NextPVR addon in Kodi most of the time, and also the NextPVRUI.
When using 1080i, the recording that is created has the strobing and stuttering too.
If I change the STB's output to 720p, all works fine again,
I tried downloading Hauppauge's own capture utility 'Hauppauge Capture' (which supports both the Colossus 1 and 2 cards.
When I record in Hauppauge Capture from 1080i, it works perfectly.
I then tried playing back the capture inside kodi, and it too was fine,
I next tried NextPVRUI client, and it does the same thing with 1080i from my STB, and stutters and strobes.
I know for certain that NextPVR has worked perfectly with my STB and the colossus1 card, as have used it for 'years'
When watching the first channel in a channel Group on the Desktop App and pressing the down arrow on the onscreen pop-up info display to change the channel to the previous channel NextPVR crashes with the exception quoted below.
Also when selecting to listen to a radio station from the TV Guide on the Desktop App the app crashes back into the TV Guide when selecting Listen or Watch, then plays the selected station with the TV Guide showing and it's then impossible to stop the station playing since the option is not in the guide when clicking on that radio station, and even when when selecting a different channel to watch both will play at the same time if you have a dual tuner stick and the only way to stop the radio station playing is to close the Desktop App.

Is there a way to increase the timeout on NPVR when starting a live stream from an IPTV source?
Here's the problem...
I'm using a Sling TV subscription for live TV service (cable is not available in my location).
I've setup the Sling TV as a source in Channels DVR, and I can play the channels just fine through the Channels DVR interface.
In NextPVR, I've setup Channels DVR as an IPTV source. All the channels are listed including the guide data as expected.
When I try to play a channel, the action fails. I watch the Channels DVR console, I see NVPR request the stream, and it shows the channel number with "starting" - while it says starting, I get the fail message, then Channels DVR shows the stream started. If I immediately select the channel again in NPVR, it plays fine.
What it looks like is happening is the NPVR is giving up waiting for the stream to start too quickly and causing a failure error.
Is there a way to make NPVR wait just a *little* longer for the stream to start? Just another 2 seconds or so?
