Are these meant to work on the client.
resume shows but just kicks you back out to the menu without playing
comskip shows if i go through videos but not in recordings
This is on the client machine.
Not big things but just wondered if i had something wrong
(Sorry for the crossposting, this post was meant to be here not on "GB-PVR Support (legacy)"
How do I schedule/start a recording? Let say I have the following record in PROGRAMME oid 14792. Do I just write all the infos in RECORDING_SCHEDULE?
I'm working on a Roku channel that will play all the recordings and I want to make it search programs and schedule / cancel recordings. Also, is there a way to get some gb-pvr or npvr art (images, icons, etc) to make the Roku channel looks like it belongs with GB/N-PVR?
I upgraded NPVR from 1.5.33 to 1.5.36 (using the NMTInstall2 program)
Set MVP/NMT number of servers to 5 (there are 2 MVPs + 1 M34A NMT)
At that point I was getting "No streaming server found" on both MVPs
Searching the forum I found the new mvpmc dongle (12/31/2010 version) which I installed
* then restarted NPVR services and
* cold started the MVP
-- still getting "No streaming server found"
Repeated attempts at having MVP rescan (to find streaming server) produce no result - except the error message.
I can confirm that...
Firewall is set trusted range 192.168.2.1 -- 192.168.2.12
Router indicates IP for MVP is 192.168.2.6 (verified via MAC addr)
MVP screen shows same 192.168.2.6
The IP for the NPVR machine is 192.168.2.4
The MVP.log says

Knowing there are a number of USB-UIRT owners around these parts, I thought some of you might be interested in this. I haven't tried it yet myself but I intend to.
Hi Martin,
I finally got around to fully installing NPVR at the htpc. I also popped in Webradio and the add-on pack.
Tested a couple of things, and it seems to work fine.
Now Im trying to get Sirius working..
In GBPVR, I had edited usermenu.xml to add a section for Sirius and the pointer to the .csv file that contained the stations links (that in turn controlled SiriusXMStreamer).
There appears to be no more usermenu.xml ? I found a usermenu.org , but adding to it doesnt cause anything to appear on the screen. Then I edited Stations.xml which did allow a Sirius link to appear in the menus.. but when I click on it, it only opens an empty page (no stations from the csv file). Does the new Webradio still read csv files ?
The format of my csv is like this..
csv_ver:0001,,,
"Sirius-Hits1",http://127.0.0.1:51710/sirius?channel=1,m3u,0
"Sirius-70s on 7",http://127.0.0.1:51710/sirius?channel=7,m3u,0
etc
BTW, I put the csv in the same folder as the stations.xml file (I forget the path, different comp running Win7.. some User/etc path)
edit: some progress.. changed the ",m3u,0" on each line and they now read in from the csv.
sadly, Im now getting an exception error box popping up .
Ill play with it more then post the logs, i guess..
edit2: make that "changed the ,m3u,0 to ,csv,1 on each line"
Guys I thought I would throw this out to see if some one may be working on a plugin for XBMC to use NPVR. Main reason is XBMC will be able to run on the PCH set top box using the Sigma chip starting with the SMP 8656
I don't want to give up my backend server using GBPVR or NPVR, today I'm using XBMC as a client of course no Live TV and I love it. It is clean and simple to use as a client and with Netflix plugin for Windows and MAC it does really give you all you need on one set top box. XBMC does have a plugin setup for mythTV backend so my question is, are there any plans for a NPVR backend plugin then I would have Live TV and all on 1 box.
Side note: My ZBOX works great running Windows 7 and XBMC for 1080p HD video steaming from my GBPVR or NPVR.
I have started using the new NextPVR from this post and when I try to browse to the devices tab in settings I get an Unhandled exception pop-up with the error details below. I applied all other patches from the support thread but that did not fix the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I can record fine when the PC is on. I can watch live tv without problem. What is not working is that when the PC wakes from sleep to record, it's not recording anything. the error says that it can't lock a signal. attached are the logs.
Currently I have 2 x PVR 500 and 1 x PVR 150 .. And looking to replace with 2 DVB-S2 tuners.
It is for Free Sat HD in the UK.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I was looking at the WinTV-HVR-4400 but that has Analog and Digital over the air that I don't need. They are also not cheap at all. But if they are the best with no hassle then they are worth it. (The PVR 500s were not cheap but never had a problem and worked flawlessly).
