I'm having difficlty adding a DigitalNow Quad DVB-T tuner into the bda.ini file and would appreciate some help.
In graphedit, the 4 tuners appear under BDA Source Filters only (no entries under BDA Receiver Components). When I add one of these source filters to the graph, it has only one pin (Input0).
How should I configure bda.ini ?
I'm using GBPVR 1.4.7 (in NPVR the tuner is natively detected and works fine, but I prefer using GBPVR)
is anybody else seeing CBS last few nights being dead? right about midnight it dies...
it's like they don't want me to see the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson...
[tonight it died exactly as the program was starting..]
i double checked and it was same on both my ant. atsc and directv dish...and even checked with antenna straight to tv...black screen no signal..
i had 2 recordings fail...or rather they just stopped recording as the signal disappeared..
no notices of testing or emergency broadcast anything either...
just wondering if other people/cities had same experience with that channel..

My system has suddenly developed a new problem, apparently only yesterday. When I try to manually cancel recordings, it sometimes behaves strangely. Sometimes it cancels normally, but often will not cancel the recording until as much as five minutes later. This causes a number of related problems (for example, starting other recordings), and the problem may or may not relate to a recording being skipped entirely overnight.
Despite the fact that the recording remains in the "pending" list, the light on the DVB-T tuner extinguishes immediately, so I don't believe it is a driver problem. The strangest thing about this is that I have performed a full restore of my system drive (including the GBPVR folder) from a backup more than two weeks old, when I was not having any such problems; I only retained my current CONFIG.XML, GBPVR.DB3, and some batch files I have developed myself. This system restore has had no effect on the problem described.
Attached are some logs from soon after I experienced the problem.
I should have said what "Blaster.exe" works, I want to use the IRBlaster from the 2250 to change the STB channels...
Am now trying to use my 2250 for IR Blasting my Motorola DCT2224 STB for changing channels (under Win7 / nPVR 1.5.33)
So far, under: Device Setup/Hauppage WinTV-7164 Analog Capture I have tried the following executables:
1) WinTV7/TVServer/Blast.exe (Args: {channel} )
2) HaupBlast.exe (Args: {channel} ) (from previous GB-PVR installed on WinXP-SP2 box - which BTW worked flawlessly on same STB)
neither of these .exe's so much as flashes a red light at the STB - but I worry that the 'args' are not correct - but have found no alternative)
I ran the WinTV7/BlastCfg.exe (v 7.3.28035) and to confirm electrical connection, the "IR Channel Test - Send" does push a red flash at the STB (yes. the blaster xmitter is right up against the STB receiver)
However, proceeding to "Learning Action" section the result is failure due to "Remote does not support toggle bit - retry learning" this was a never-ending loop. In a phone call to Hauppauge Support, they walked me through the same steps - but no joy, and no answers.
Being unable to control the STB for channel changing is a show stopper here.
Anyone out there running the HVR-2250 by blasting their STB ??
I'd really appreciate any light you might be able to shed on this.
I have used a couple of different programs to create one meta data file named "tvshow.nfo". Some works others do not. There are differences but the main parts, like title and plot is the same.
I suspect that the one not working is created by Media Center Master, a program that have a lot of potential in the area of meta data scraping. So I would be grateful if this kind of nfo file could be used as well.
The working one is created by Ember media manager, but the tv scraping is far from finished and the development seems to have practically stopped...
The third file attached is also created by MCM, and also seems to be some default format for some progam, maybe mce...
Not saying it should be supported, there are a lot of meta data file formats out there already... Just added as info.

Had this problem before but didn't do anything about it untill I was going to start fresh.
I now have a fresh W7 install and the latest NPVR
Every morning, my EPG data is gone. EPG is collected thu DVB-S
To get the full EPG, I have to watch live TV on a certain channel. Then my EPG gets populated with a full weeks data.
CCP/ffdshow. I installed this but find I'm using the built in MS dodah. Anyone got a good guide to using CCCP/ffdshow in NPVR? I have quite a lot of old vids that need a bit of enhancing, now that I have a bigger TV (from 26" CRT to 40" LED Sony)
