I have USBUIRT working from the command line but I am having trouble getting it to change the channels on my STB within NPVR. I do not even see it trying. Here is what I use at the command lline USBUIRTSend.exe "C:\npvr\fios.dat" 018 and it will change to channel 18.
Here is what I have under Channel Changer.
Executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\npvr\USBUIRTSend.exe
Arguments: "C:\npvr\fios.dat" {channel} (including the quotes)
Reposted here:
Place a copy of usbuirtsend.exe in a convenient folder
Place a copy of your existing IR Definition in a convenient folder
If your definition file is **.txt rename it **.dat
Add usbuirtsend.exe to the Executable
In the arguments type in quotes the dat file location (eg "C:\Program Files\NPVR\IR Definitions\VBox.dat" {channel})
Change the channel Number from 1-? to the numbers required by your set top box (eg 101, 102, 103 etc) The Tuner-Channel: number will be changed after you click OK
Do i need to install any certain codec packages? I installed NPVR fine but when i go to watch live tv i can see no picture. just a black screen. i can hear the audio fine which makes me think i might need a codec.
I downloaded the latest version of GB-PVR but cant get my tuner setup. I have the Winfast PalmTop DTV200H External tuner but GB-PVR says it cant detect it.
This one is odd, but it's burned me two nights in a row.
I have GB-PVR (1.4.7) set to pad recordings by 3 minutes at the start and end. Yesterday and tonight I had shows set to record at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm. Tonight, the 8pm show recorded 7:57-9:03pm. The 9pm show recorded 8:57-10:03pm. The 10:00pm and 10:01pm shows both recorded from 10:03-11:03pm. Last night the exact same scenario was setup and the same thing happened except they were both 10:00pm recordings (instead of a 10:00pm and a 10:01pm).
I have 4 total tuners (2 HDHR) and have "Enable Multi-Record support" checked.
I've been using GB-PVR for a long time and never encountered this issue in the past.
I also ran a test earlier today where I set the system to record 3 hours in a row on two channels simultaneously and it worked fine.
Hi, I'm having a problem getting HP USB Tuner to work with GB-PVR. This device is the same as the Haupaugge HVR-950Q but rebranded.
I installed gb-pvr 1.4.7 on my Windows XP SP3 PC. I tried selecting Haupaugge HVR-950Q from the list but it still doesn't work for me. When I am in the config window, I select the HVR-950Q, click on Map Digital Channels....., then an error pops up, GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA Device you have configured.
I've attached the filtercheck.log file, let me know what else you need.
Thank you!
hi - not really used npvr much but latest version seems to behave in the same way as the original release.
if i open a few video files, the memory usage of npvr.exe builds up until finally it runs out and i get an exception error.
could post logs, but they don't show much...
this a known issue? have seen it mentioned in a few posts...
cheers
Anyone else having problems with mc2xml? My OTA guide is not updating correctly, no show details for all the channels. I tried downloading mc2xml.exe again, server #3, emptying and updating, still no luck. i am using the same mc2xml for my cable channels and they are updating correctly. i get this message when updating in the config app:
