Would it be possible to add something which allows nPVR to remeber which view you are using in the video and music library on a per folder basis? For example tv shows I have on my NAS box are arranged in TV\Show Name\Season\.... It would be nice to use the thumbnail view to navigate through the folders and then switch to list view automatically when you reach the actual content.
I'm trying to increase the number of items for the video screen - list view from 12 to say.. 15 but can't seem to get it to work. Anybody have any ideas?
I already have the listview maxed out to cover the whole screen
I have a Hauppauge 2250 card that can control 2 IR blasters.
I was previously using it to control a set top box and it worked OK. I used {channel} for command line parameters in CONFIG.
Today, I added a second IR blaster cable to the card interface. In Blastcfg.exe it sees the second blaster cable.
My question is: What command line parameters do I enter in CONFIG to indicate that to change the channel for an analog tuner PVRX2 should use the second IR blast port on the 2250 card?
Default pre and post padding set at 4mins.
If I set up two programmes to be recorded and the start time of the second is the same as the finish time of the first then they both use the same capture card, even though a second capture card is available, ignoring the padding. Recording two programmes with different start times but overlapping uses both cards.
As the post regarding duplicate entries in the EPG looks like its solved I am opening a separate post on another issue that I had raised as part of that post. Sometimes issues can be lost when buried in another post.
NPVR is scheduling up to 4 recordings of each show simultaneously. I have 4 tuners. I am guessing if I had more it would schedule more.
So every day I get 4 copies of "Shaun the Sheep" all recorded at the same time. And the same happens with many other shows in my recording list.
Please let me know what I can do to debug this issue or provide data. I have had this issue for a very long time. I have an unresolved post on this under GBPVR.
If you are also seeing this issue it would be appreciated if you could add a note to this post - I would like to know if it is just me or are others seeing it too.
I have been using GBPVR for a while and want to upgrade to NPVR. I have a Hauppauge PVR150 and an ATI TV Wonder 650 that have both been working in GBPVR. When I setup both tuners in NPVR, the PVR150 works perfectly, but the ATI 650 throws an error stating, "Unable to Communicate with the Recording Service" or "Unable to find the Capture Device". I have searched the forums for a similar problem, and have tried the patches without success. I have attached my logs for when I try to use the ATI 650 tuner as well as the results of FilterCheck.
I have Gigabyte GT-P8000 TV card, and I want to use its S-Video input.
I install NPVR 1.5.28 and also did what written in this thread (post number 3) in order to get my analog tuner detected.
In "Settings" -> "Deviecs" tab -> My analog tuner -> "Device setup", I tried to add a channel for the S-Video input.
As input source I have two option for SVideo (SVideo and SVideo2).
For country I can choose real country, or some other options (such as "Analog Tuner", "Svideo", etc.)
If I choose for country not a real country, I get Unhandled Exception when I click "OK".
If I choose a real country, the channel added.
No matter if what input source I choose (SVideo or SVideo2), and I what Turing I choose (Cable or Antenna), I still can't watch tv - Choosing Live TV from the menu writes on the screen "Please wait" for a moment and nothing happens...
