Yhis post may be better suited for the Wishlist, but it may be possible...
I have a movie in mkv-format with embedded subtitle (english). But I also have a srt-file in Swedish.
So now both subtitles is showing!
When I play DVD, I can switch subs with the yellow button. But nothing happens in this movie.
Is there a way to turn off the embedded sub, sub (sorry, I couldn't help it )?
The item for the wishlist would be to be able to change between embedded and external subtitles with the press of a button (i.e yellow)
(This would be helpful for divx-movies as well. In some cases I have double sets of subs, both Swedish and English. I have to rename one of them to get the one I want to show.)
Two things to note:
1, You are setting your cut points as the parts you want to edit out unlike Cuttermaran where you mark what to keep.
2, As per the author's notes you will most likely need the Haali Media Splitter installed and go into the programs settings and tell it to use the Haali Media Splitter (AR) as the demuxer.
Also not as big a deal for me is that right now it only cuts on IDR frames.
I got this one to work too but I had to do some configuring and I had some help, basically in settings you tell it to cut on... you guessed it IDR frames. The first few times I tried to open a file it did not like them but for some reason it started working. It does not like m2ts the last time I tried and you mark the sections to keep.
Neither of these match the use of Cuttermaran for mpeg2 files and I hope Cuttermaran updates to work with h264 and TS as they already work with ac3 but until them TSsniper is a bit slow but good to work with, all the cuts were where they should have been and actual file creation time isn't bad at all, give it a try.
Community 4 skin installation produced this error: UbuRadio.XMLSerializers.dll
Since I have been unable to get UBUradio installed and working since GBPVR version 1.3.11, I am wondering if getting this DLL will cure the problem. Attempts at installing UBURadio 1.3 and 1.2 have not produced this DLL. Perhaps 1.1?? Or maybe the UbuStream application should be installed (though UBURadio says nothing about installing UbuStream and UbuStream seems to be installed with UBURadio when I check for that service).
Or is this a fictitious error produced by the community 4 skin?
This could be a UBUradio problem as I have been trying to get UBURadio to work with GBPVR since 1.3.11.
In an attempt to resolve UBU radio issue, I installed the new Community 4 SD skin. After install, and during initial start-up of PVRX2, I got a warning message that said, "Unable to locate DLL: UbuRadio.XMLSerializers.dll. This now happens whenever I start PRVx2 with the Community 4 Skin. I will also post this to the Community skin forum
I see this same missing DLL message has happened recently with another plug-in.
Hi All,
I'm looking for a plug-in with the ability to search for upcoming shows by type. Specifically, I'd like to search for upcoming movies that will be airing. I remember BeyondTV having something like that when I gave their trial a go.
Last Saturday (5/16) I released a BETA build 81 of EWA that contains secured web services functionality.
I believe this will now open up GBPVR functionality onto other platforms and interfaces.
I have posted further information on the web services on the wiki along with a rudimentary windows app that can be used as an example of connecting to and using the services.
