Trying to use SimpleArchiver with the Slick skin and there doesn't appear to be any menus in the Video Library. SimpleArchiver uses the transcode button in the menu. Using the Blue skin instead I can see the menu and use SimpleArchiver. Is something wrong that can be fixed or is this just how it is?
Hi All, im wondering if anyone knows if the OEM 7130AM WDM TV TUNER/VIDEO CAPTURE CARD is compatible with GBPVR? If not, can someone recommend a card for use in Australia?

I've switched back to zap2xml from mc2xml, but that is another story.
zap worked like a charm for a few weeks, but tonite I notice that prime time shows seem to be missing, tried update, clearing then update, etc, no luck. I look at the zap2it website and the data is good there, but not in the xml file.
I know not specific to gbpvr, but I can't seem to find the issue anyplace else.
I'm considering adding a PCI tuner to my GB-PVR box, strictly for digital. Primarily for OTA ATSC; I really have no plans to get cable. I'm quite happy with my HVR-1250, but only have the one PCIe slot (yes, I am kicking myself for not just buying a HVR-2250 in the first place).
It seems to me a LOT of people have all kinds of weird problems with the HVR-1600 for digital. So I'm wondering what other PCI digital tuners people are using?
This will be kind of long-winded, so my apologies.
Currently I have my GB-PVR 1.3.11 set up and working happily with a cheap RCA universal remote. A serial IR receiver, WinLIRC and Autohotkey.
Current goal: replace fragile, eventually-obsolete serial receiver with USB, and still use one inexpensive universal remote for all home theater components.
Research has yielded no satisfactory answers to the following.
1: I want to still be able to control my TV, audio receiver, cable box, and GBPVR with a single remote. Is there no such thing as a universal MCE remote that doesn't cost $50+?
2: I have seen HP receivers on eBay for about $15. Can a USB MCE Receiver receive signals from a standard universal remote?
3. WinLIRC (as far as I can tell) doesn't work with USB, only serial. If #2 is possible, which software would work best for interpreting uni-remote signals? EventGhost? HIP?
If you have endured my ramblings this far and have any workable solutions, I thank you in advance.
If I transition from analogue channels to a digital channel via the up arrow I get the digital ch displayed for around a second then a black screen for 3 or 4 sec, then it returns to main menu. If I go back into LiveTV, the digital ch comes up and stays up.
I want to finance (at least in part) a new Popcorn Hour. Anyone idea how much I might get for two second hand MVPs on ebay in Australia? I haven't seen any there for ages.
