As with about 99% of other programs and video players they have an option (usually right click) that will enable you to go from windowed mode to full screen and backwards, so what I would like to know is this also possible with GBPVR?.
With GBPVR I am unable to do this, I can either be in window mode or full screen and well it is a pain changing it, is there nothing that can be done 'one the fly' like the such of WinTV or even VLC for normal media files.
It is very useful so that you can multi task when needed but in a moment switch back to true fullscreen.
I'm trying to install GB-PVR and the installer gets to 1sec and begins the rollback to uninstall everything. When uninstalled, it says "Fatal Error: Installation ended prematurely because of an error."
I'm trying to install "GBPVR10311.msi" and have the following installed in my programs list:
Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft.NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
I'm running XP. Any assistance you can provide would be most appreciated.
I changed my email account in schedules direct but not in gbpvr and 1 week later I get no show details. But I change the login (PW did not change) and still get EPG error even after deleting and adding tuners again. Should I a)reinstall GBPVR b)create another account at schedules direct or c) some other ?
Win XP sp3, 2x Hauppauge pvr 150, analog cable, gbpvr upgraded to 1.3.11
I just got GBP-PVR v 1.3.11 on my system, using a ViXS Tuner card out of a friend's HP Media Center. I'm running Vista, and things were working fine yesterday.
I was switching between decoders trying to get the picture sharper (it's really fuzzy), but somehow it's borked LiveTV ability. Launching LiveTV kicks back to the dashboard after 2 second and flashing the TV Guide info for 1/2 a second. However, anything I schedule to record records just fine, and I can watch LiveTV if it's of something that is being recorded. I set my decoders, along with all other things I can remember changing, back to the default install, but it doesn't fix anything. I've also updated my EPG (just start my Schedules Direct 7-day trial), but that did not help. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Hi,
The battle goes on and while I have Pinnacle 73e installed the Dongle device is incompatible with Vista. There were some Updates installed yesterday and I don't recall this before then.
Help, this looks a valuable program and I would like to use it.
Pic attached.

I have 'Use incremental screen updates' on the MVP & NMT tab set to on and I'm using 1.3.11 with the mvpmc dongle (2008-04-05) on a wired MVP.
When I use the new CS-SD skin, I get bad 'jittering' on any screen except watching TV or Video. By 'jittering' I mean that the image on the screen moves rapidly up and down by approx 3-5% of the screen height - there is no horizontal movement. I don't see this problem on Blue, Slick or Blue-Retro-SHV.
So I did a test... for both Blue and CS-SD in turn...
Start MVP - Main Menu appears with no jitter
after about 10 seconds, I pressed the Up key - jittering starts
after another 10 seconds or so, I pressed the Down key - jittering continues
about 10 seconds later I powered down the MVP with the green button
Also if I start the MVP with CS-SD and leave it at the Main Menu, it starts jittering on its own after 15-20 seconds.
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone can help? My system was running stable for about 2 weeks and all of the sudden the system sounds within the PVRX2 application now sound all garbled. It is strange because this is the only application that is doing it and when I play live or recorded tv (with PVRX2) it sounds great. Any ideas? BTW, I should mention that I using SPD/IF for audio and it is going into a reciever.
I use SchedulesDirect and GBPVR 1.3.7 and have noticed that one channel in my lineup has no data available. I already emailed SchedulesDirect and we have verified that the information is available on their server. Anyone know where I would look in GBPVR to try and diagnose the problem?
I am writing a batch script to fix some of my problems (hopefully). Does anyone know how I can call GBPVR to update my EPG from a batch file?
So far this is what I have:
REM delete xml file
"del C:\Program Files\multimedia\gbpvr\listings\xmltv.xml"
REM update XML tv listings | update EPG
"C:\Program Files\multimedia\gbpvr\listings\mc2xml.exe" -c us -g 16801
REM TODO: update EPG
REM restart recording service
net stop gb-pvr recording service
net start gb-pvr recording service
Hi,
I just noticed today that I have some recorded H264 ts files that does not have any sound when playing in PVRX2. Playing them in graphedit and in PowerDVD gives sound.
On the other hand I have other recordings from the same channel who have sound. Also live TV works with sound.
What can be the difference between the files. They are all recorded from the Swedish HD channel (SVT HD). In the logs they seem to be treated the same. I have played around with different audio decoders but no change.
Lgs are enclosed. In the logs the Galapagos show has sound whether the Planet Earth has no sound.
