well everything seems to have gone haywire after my upgrade to 1.3.11...
now it thinks there's a conflict recording shows between my analog card and my digital card!?
not only that, every time i change channels on atsc, it locks up pvrx2.exe
nothing in the logs...just last successfull operation..
it also recorded a atsc show wrong channel!? lots of screwy stuff goin on...
never had an upgrade go this badly...
am recording right now on analog, but noticed in guide a later show flagged as a conflict, but it's an analog channel and only other recording all night is on separate digital card..
cancelled and tried to re-schedule, and it says conflict with the digital card again!?
it is same physical card but a dual tuner that's worked fine as dual since day 1..
[plus i have another digital card that should have taken any conflicts away]
i didn't see any survival guide for this release, am i missing any patches?
I'm quite not sure what happened, but for some reason when I hold either the "up" or "down" button on the remote while in the "tv guide" or "search guide" menu it only scrolls one item at a time. Before it used to scroll through extremely fast, so fast that I was not able to read anything (which i liked).
I am currently using the IR Server Suite to handle the remote control. Is there a know solution or way to fix this problem?
In other words, can they both be installed at the same time?
I am trying out the Beyond TV trial and it's working great which proves that my problems with GBPVR have not been hardware related, which I was beginning to suspect because for the life of me I couldn't get it working right. :o
So, now I'm all fired up again to get GBPVR working since I know I don't need new hardware. I currently have the BeyondTV trial installed, can I go ahead and install GBPVR also and start setting it up w/o removing BeyondTV first?
can anyone recommend a good and cheap silent cpu cooler for a duo? (i need to get 2 of them).
i had good experience with the zalman CNPS9700LED (or similar models) but one in one of my boxes has gone all loud all of a sudden (well i swapped motherboards and now its decided to be loud), like the fan only wants to spin at full spin, if i unplug the fan the cpu doesnt get hot or anything - so its not working hardcore because of heat.
so looking for an alternative, preferably one with no fan, but that might be bit expensive..
I recently installed the rc1 version of this plug in. Everything works perfectly except that I can't see any of the movies in my queue, it always says "no movies available". I know I have at least 20 in there.
I can see all of the other feed (all movies, top 100, etc.) and they work just fine. I have set my personal rss id in the config program and verified that it is correct in the config.xml file (I am asssuming it is the ID that begins with a P followed by about 25 numbers). Anyone know what I'm missing?
I thought that the Favourites column on the Channels tab in Config dictated whether a channel showed in the TV Guide or not.
It seems that if a channel is enabled for a capture source it shows in the TV Guide even if the Favourites field is unchecked on the Channels tab. Is this expected behaviour?
Hi,
Is it possible to install two different versions of GBPVR on the same PC? The reason is, that I like to keep using the old GBPVR for some things, and also like to use the new PVRX2.
Regards
Michael
i was wondering what people experiencing was like with free installers?
which one is best/easiest to use ? nsis? inno?
i want to do the following
- install files but only replace files are newer
- update xml files
- execute sql commands (to create a database/update a database)
- ability to download something from the internet and then run it if need be
- launch another installer and wait for that to complete
- have the ability to "modify" the install (to change database settings)
ive used nsis in the past, and know it does most of those things (not sure about the sql),
also what is the best ide to use for the installer? (writing nsis forms was a PITA last i used it)
