I am having a strange problem with COMSKIP. After a video is converted from .mpg to an .avi XviD file, COMSKIP doesn't skip commercials whereas it does prior to the conversion when playing the .mpg file. Pressing 999 doesn't seem to engage it (I haven't tried this while playing a .mpg file as I have none at the moment). What might be causing this issue?
I notice that some include a "~E:T" and I was wondering what the significance of this part is. It seems to only be on encrypted channels but I want to make sure that's what it means.
Also, all my scan entries end with "(000)" or "(000(AC3))". I can figure out the "AC3" but what does the "000" mean? I'm guessing language code but my cable company isn't sending that info?
Thought I would have a play at writing a plugin - this is the first effort.
Basically, its a two player chess game.
Features:
It should only allow valid moves (won't allow en-passant or anything complex)
Will detect check or moves into check.
Non-Featured:
No single player
Doesn't detect checkmate/stalemate.
No skinning support - hard coded to the screen. Might fix this one day when I learn more.
Unfortunately, I had problems with trying to get the pathname within the plugin so it is hard coded to 'c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins\GBChess'.
Im sure there are bugs in there - If its anything not already noted feel free to comment but be aware this was more of a test than a proper plugin so I don't plan to spend a lot of time on it.
I live in Canada. My cable TV provider is Cogeco. I have a Conexant Blackbird installed but the Tuner Assistant can't find any of my channels - it located about 68 channels - all blue.
I've checked the wires and the drivers and everything seems to be working fine. The question is, why can't I watch TV?

Everything seems to work just fine except the line up that GBPVR gets from Schedules Direct is always both line-ups and mixes them together and adds numbers that don't even exist. I had to remove >40 entries for my HDPVR setup. I have 2 line-ups one for sd cable channels and one for Digital hd. I would like to get the first line-up for sd only.
where do I change the setting in GBPVR?:confused:
I'm trying to setup my HVR-1600 to use QAM. I'm able to view the preview window for the digital channels and map them to the EPG but when I try to actually watch the channel in PVRX2 I get the audio but no video. Has anyone experienced this before?
I think I have had evry possible problem withsetting up gbpvr.... Im trying to get the web admin up and running. I have followed the perscribed setup points in the documentation with no luck. I also have diabled Norton on this machine and still have issues..

I was wondering if someone could help me.
I am after the script to mount one popcorn to another using the mount command.
My popcorns names are PCH-Bedroom and PCH-Lounge. Both have Hard Drives
ip address 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3
I want to be able to mount the video folder of either drive.
I am not having much luck.

Hi, I am wondering if this tuner can work with GBPVR. It seems to have BDA & MPEG2 Drivers but I am at a loss as to how to fix the settings. I have attached a ZIP of the filtercheck log.
