set something to record tonight between 9-10 and i saw the red block on the tv guide earlier on..
now (9:20) the recording isn't in pending and the red block has gone from the tv guide but if i try and watch something with that particular tuner, it says it isn't available (recording service status is sleeping on all my tuners..)
on the server i can playback the file from within pvrx2 with video and audio.
on the client no audio is played from within pvrx2
both pcs use the same k-lite codec pack 4.4.5.
because of the tv-card-drivers there are some additional decoders available on the server, but client / server are both set to use the same decoders (ffdshow)
if i open the file with graph-studio it correctly shows ffdshow-video/audio-decoders on both pcs. additionally the haali media splitter is loaded.
the file is played back ok from within graphstudio and also from within wmp.
playback from within pvrx2 obviously only loads ffdshow-video-decoder (haali splitter / ffdshow audio decoder is not loaded) on both pcs.
how can i determine which decoders are loaded / used by pvrx2?
Well, one more issue then I think I got it from here...
In previuos posts I had some permission problems, I think I fixed them by turning user control off in Windows.
I don't know if this is related, however when GBPVR eather starts a a recording for the sched. or I start the recording on the channel I am watching I am kicked out of the TV and back to the GBPVR main screen. If I try and go back to "watch Live TV" the screen flashes and I am returned to the main screen...
Did I miss somthing in setup?? I checked the Doc's at Wikki and can't find anything.

I am considering dumping my sky box and using a GBPVR server instead. I have a PCH, but am thinking of selling it, and using funds to buy a PC.
would this be considered a viable option?

I just reinstalled windows, which obvuously means that GB-PVR had to go with it, so I lost all settings and info. I wanted to scan for more channels after I have reinstalled Windows, but when I do, GB-PVR stops responding at about 2%.
Ok, so I've searched the forums and have not found the answer. I have the web server setup, however when I go to the video library, none of my folders show up. I see none of my videos at all. Am I missing a step somewhere?
I tried to Update my tv listings in GBPVR 1.3.7 but I noticed there's no UpdateEPG.bat. I use SchedulesDirect and I-xmltv to fetch my listings.
I just buit a new htpc with a e8400 3.0ghz dual core Intel, 4 gbs of corsair 1066mhz memory, Ati 4650 HD vid card, 1 80gb sata hdd and 1 750gb sata hdd for recordings also got a HDPVR getting its feed from a Scientific Atlanta 4250hd cable box with component connection,
I still have problems with the IrBlast.cfg as it does not list the 4250 only 4200 and 3250. Blaster doesnt work at all. Will have to get a changer going later.
For now I just want the EPG update working.
Does anyone have a Update EPG.bat in the main GBPVR directory?

I just installed a Blu Ray drive & installed WinDvd 9 Plus Blu Ray on my HTPC. How do I get the H264 decoder & any related files that are needed into GBPVR?
In the GBPVR config I only have "system default" available for H264.
Do I need to copy any files to the Windows/System32 directory?
I perfer the list TV guide that you get when you press control G. However with the MCE remote settings when you press the guide button you get the mini TV guide. Is there anyway that I can change this around.
I keep getting an error message indicating that "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." I believe it is looking for a folder with GbPVR10008[1].msi which is not available. I tried installing the 1.3.7 version, hoping that it would copy a new version of the file but I get the same message and finally the process stops with an "internal error 2753. config.exe" message. I also tried uninstalling but I get the same message about GBPVR10008[1] not available. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance for any help!!
