I have seen similar problems posted several times but none of the solutions have worked for me. I have also looked in the video redo forum with no luck.

I am using comskip to identify the commercials in the file and generate the VPrj file but video redo doesn't run from postprocessing.bat.

I can drag and drop the mpg file into the postprocessing.bat and everything works fine. I can use "open with" to send the mpg file to postprocessing.bat and everything works fine. It just won't work automatically after the recording ends and gbprv runs postprocessing.bat.

The postprocessing batch file:

"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\comskip.exe" %1

cscript //nologo "C:\Program Files\VideoReDoTVSuite\vp.vbs" "%~dpn1.VPrj" "%~dpn1_Clean.mpg" /t1 /q

I am using gbpvr 1.3.7 and comskip79_98

I'm trying to play an AAC encoded internet radio station. The PCH buffers and returns to the GBPVR screen (I have no-nmt-gui enabled) where I can see the artist / song info, so it appears to be "playing"correctly, but I have no sound.

The PCH is playing everything through teh coax digital out, and I have "digital raw" selected as my playback for AAC in teh audio setup.

Has anyone else run into this? Any fixes?

Hey, I've searched through the forums and find a lot of posts suggesting the same thing that I'm looking for. I would like to be able to group several videos together (all of our Christmas videos for example). I'd like to be able to have them all in one folder rather than just all over the place.

Does anyone know of a way to do this? It was very simple with Video Archive, but now that it's dead I'm trying to migrate back to the standard Recordings interface and can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this.

Any ideas?

I must say that GB-PVR is an excellent app and it works beautifully well. However now I have a number of recorded stuff that are in MPG format taking up a lot of space that I would like to encode to AVI files (DivX).

I need recommendations on using something that will process my C:/recorded and all its subfolder. I am not after anything fancy, I am not after editing out commercials, or filtering or anything just a staright forward conversion.

I have spent all of today (Xmas day) going through many support forums and reading numerous guides but I am yet to come across something that is as simple as what I requested.

I have been playing with VirtualDubMod and it works great for single files. Yes I know it has a job processing option but I still need to INDIVIDUALLY select every recorded file, apply the video and audio compression settings, and click on save as and give it a file name.

This is simple way too much work. all I want is a simple little app that will compress my MPGs into AVIs in a selected folder and all its subfolders.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and merry Xmas.

I'm a newbie, and I've been lurking the boards for a while now - I have an issue that I'm hoping someone could solve:

Whilst in GB-PVR, when I record from the S-Video spigot on the HVR-2250, I have an issue where my video processing packages (TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, DVDLab Pro, & MPEG Video Wizard, to name 3) don't "see" the entire recorded video.

As an example, I recorded a 55 minute/1.9 gig MPEG2 video from VHS, which on all the above 3 packages show the video as only being 12 mins, 27 seconds long. VLC media player will play all 55 minutes worth, so I know that it's there. I've captured this same video 3 times, with essentially the same result.

I initially thought that it must be the MPEG2 encoder - which is a hardware encoder on my card, but when I record the same VHS, thru the same S-Video spigot, using WinTV (YUCK!!!), my above 3 processing packages "see" the entire captured file.

I tried "fixing" the header information with several freeware apps, to no avail... Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts???

When doing a search, could the channel number be shown on the same line as the show title? If a show is on 56 (Sci-Fi for me), I know just from that what type of show it might be. If it's on 52 (TCM), then I know its probably going to be a 30-40 year old black and white show.

Just that little bit of information will really help me filter search results, like "all movies", for example.

When I use WMP to playback MP3s I can adjust the equalizer and other playback settings (like SRS WOW effects) to my liking. Is there any way I could adjust or use these same audio settings from within GBPVR ? The settings button for audio codecs in the config GUI doesn't explicitly list anything which has the same adjustments. Suggestions?

I have the HDHomerun connected and it works fine for watching live TV in GBPVR. I record something and all seems well, but when I go to play it back from 'recordings', it just flashes a black screen for a few seconds and returns to the previous menu. The files exist and play in Windows Media Center.

I do have an HDPVR connected and all the recordings from it play fine. I did have the HDHomerun working at one time, but apparently lost something while working on the HDPVR.

Any help is appreciated.
