I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I get the following error. (see gif image)
I tried to reinstall, I checked Schedules Direct. I had not changed anything except for a new router, so I checked directly through the modem, still nothing. The only change was it was a "(500) internal server error" and now it's not.
I know that there was a patch at one time, I had installed it, but I am sure it's part of all the new versions for probably a year now.

I tried to setup a share on the popcorn using the network share and pointed to the mvpmc folder, but when I tried to run gbpvr from the share it would not work. I tried to find information but my internet connection kept falling over. Is there a way of setting up a share or do you have to use the network browser all the time.

Does anyone know how to start PVRX2 from a batch file in Vista so that it gets focus?
I need to use a batch file to start PVRX2 ( in non-windowed mode) so that I can run other commands before starting PVRX2, e.g. switch to 2nd screen profile when I want to watch movies on the projector.
The batch (cmd) file uses the Windows START command to start PVRX2 as follows:
START "PVRX2" /ABOVENORMAL C:\....\PVRX2.EXE -FSE
This works fine under Windows XP. PVRX2 starts and gets focus.
But if I do exactly the same thing under VISTA, PVRX2 starts but does not get focus; the Vista taskbar is displayed and the PVR2 icon is flashing. This happens whether I use EVR, VMR9 Custom or VMR9 FSE.
I then have to use the mouse and click in the PVRX2 window to make the task bar go away and give focus to PVRX2 so I can use the remote. This is annoying enough to go back to XP!
When I search for a specific episode using S02E13 type format, I can't get the numbers because of the sms style entry. I know that you have designed this for use with the MVP or at least to sit on the couch and sms enter a search string, but I have a wireless keyboard for exactly this sort of thing... I'd like to use it.
I am trying to record the season's shows for my wife, but I am not getting that option. In reading the forum it should be an option under the Recording menu when I select a show, but I am not finding it. I get record Instant or Click on Record and it sets up the show to record.
I can find other instances of the new show, but it only lets me record the one. I have to search and find the next one and set it to record. I know it is there. I am just not seeing it.
GB-PVR 1.3.7, Yahoo GO TV, MediaMVP, Hauppauge PVR-1800, Basic Cable SD only at this time.
I know this is experimental, so I am not looking for all the answer. I was just wondering if anyone else has been playing with this feature.
I have a Nova-S+. If I install the encoder, GBPVR identifies an HVR4000. If I set this as a source, I can pump the signal from my set top box to the component socket. All lovely......
BUT
It only works once after install! After rebooting or coming back from standby for the first time, I get a black screen with colours along the bottom- sound is OK.
I am wondering if this is an encoder problem (over to Hauppauge) or a GBPVR issue (in which case wait and see if things develop).

I am having a couple of issues that are annoyances, but not deal breakers. I was wondering if there are any work arounds.
1. When I exit the Netflix plugin and try to play hidef recordings, I get sound but no picture. The regular definition recordings work fine, but the hidef do not. Rebooting fixes this. Also, sometimes I can play a regular file, then a hidef file and it works. Just wondering if there is a work around, it would greatly please my wife.
2. When gbpvr goes to sleep, I usually hit an arrow key on my remote to wake it up, this unfortunately when a movie is paused takes to to a cursor in the "Transition state" box, I cannot exit it, and I must attach a mouse and keyboard to get out of it.
