Some questions if you can help.
1./ The audio and video channels show up as different channels. The audio show up as AC3. Is there any way to mix the two together to make them work as one?
2./ Please see attached filtercheck file.
I have also installed a Yuan MPG600 Card, Can I use this also with GBPVR ?
3./ Lastly.. how do i use the composite in or component/svideo in with this card and GBPVR.

XP MCE will not use the T850E card.. recognises it, but wont scan the channels.

I have two Hauppauge MVPs and love them but need to change over to new hardware to allow for digital and HD broadcasts. I have an old PC that I want to use as a client(streaming). It is working great with analog recordings but with the digital/HD recordings the video skips or jumps every few seconds. Can this be improved by upgrading the video card only? I want to buy a new machine but can't afford it right now. My current video card is and ATI that has 256 MB. I was looking at a Sapphire 100275L with ATI Radeon X1650PRO and 512 MB. Will this improve anything or do I need to bite the bullet and upgrade the machine? How much does the network speed affect this. My router that I am using is a 10/100 will a gigabit router help the situation?

Hey, Im a big n00b when it comes to this stuff, so i really need some help. I just recently formatet my harddisk, and before I had Intervideo Hometheater, and it sucked. This program looks amazing, but I just can't seem to get i to work.
I figured that I just might not have the right hardware?? I have a ASUStek Mercur Capture Device, or thats what I think it is? (how do I find out?) I used to watch tv on my computer, just by having an antenna cable put on to the tv-tuner card, but it doesn't seem to work with GB-PVR? But Im a n00b, soo please help!

I would first like to apologize in case this has already been addressed, although I have done much searching both in Google and in the Wiki/Forums and have not come across a solid answer to my question...
For a while I ran Vista with the Media Center program it came with (this is after running GBPVR on XP). It was nice in that I could use the program iPodifier to convert the shows to iPod and add them to iTunes automatically with all of the show's info (title/episode name/etc.)
When I first switched back to GBPVR I was able to convert shows and get them on my iPod, but did not have any of the show's information with it, just the filename. This is quite bothersome when there are tons of Simpsons episodes and you know which one you're looking for but don't have a name to go by...
I had tried Linux, but that's a whole different story =p
I'm now back on Windows with XP and GBPVR and was wondering if there is a solution to this problem...namely getting shows onto the iPod keeping all metadata.
Once again I apologize if there is already a solution that I've somehow missed and I thank you all in advance for any help!
I have an Hauppauge 1600 and Vista ultimate (latest driver from the website), with a sa250HD cable box. I am using the IRblaster that comes with the card.
I have read many posts about this problem, and I even changed my service to "allow interact with desktop", but the channel changer won`t change during recording (quick or scheduled).
The channel changer works fine from the command prompt and from the IRblaster configuration. The channel changer also works when watching live tv from the TVGuide (which means that haupblast.exe gets called properly).
It looks like a permission problem. I tried running the recording service with the current user permissions, I have the same problem. I even tried the "runas" trick that someone mentioned in another post, and same problem.
I was wondering if the haupblast.exe is the only way to change channel inside GBPVR with an Hauppauge card ? I saw that HIP can be used, but I cannot find the information about the configuration for the haupauge blaster.
Anyone has any clues ?

I think that GBPVR is awesome and so easy to use ! I just hope to be able to change channel during scheduled recording !
sorry for the dense question - i have my mux set to TS MUX cause ive been having issues with cyberlink, ati, and dvr-ms - so my next bet was to try the ts mux but have now sound - what do i need to get audio ? below is the media info i have about the files im playing

All of my digital recordings all stop their timers at 12:48. After this point, the show keeps rolling, but the timer doesn't increase. Since 12:48 is the stop point, its the furthest I can fast forward to. I can't click past it either in the green timer bar up top.
The shows to report the right full time and I can watch the entire thing without a problem, just with no FF past 12:48.
I'm using TS Mux right now as thats the best choice for me and my Popcorn Hour box. I don't think I had this problem when I was using ms-dvr before I set up my PCH box with the gbpvr client.
