Hi,
I am in the midde of setting up Windows Home Server and am looking to migrate my installation from Xp to this new server.
Is there an 'easy' way of moving the installation so I dont have to go through the lengthy process of mapping channels etc ?

Things were working great with 1.1.5. Upgraded to 1.2.13 last night, and noticed that recordings made afterwards were on the wrong channels.

My setup is configured to drive an I/R blaster with hipsend.exe.

I rebooted and played around this morning, and found that PVRX2.exe can successfully change channels either from the TV Guide menu, or via remote. But I attempted a couple of recordings through TV Guide selection, and they both failed.

I checked the RecordingService log but it reported no errors around those recordings. I also checked the Windows events but found nothing obviously wrong. (ZIPped up the logs subdir and attached it here.)

Any advice? TIA.

Version 8.8 came out yesterday, havent tried them myself yet.

Is there a plugin for tv series in GBPVR like moretv/savedtv/tv library on win media centre, or the excellent MP-TVSeries in mediaportal?

I have a load of tv series avi's and would love to be able to go into a view, see banners for the series and seasons, then get the episodes with episode data..

Just wondered if anything like that exists - I am a mediaportal user at present but am getting fedup of tv service crashes so want to give gbpvr a play and see how I get on with that - but this is one major factor in winning the wife over to a new system.

My Tv listning will not show the programs for one channel - DR 1 from Denmark. The Enhanced Web Admin shows the the channel without problems.

I've attached the xml-file and the logfile from GbPvr - there is dump around line 188 in the PVRX2.exe.log

I and probably others would love to see SwarmPlayer as a plugin. SwarmPlayer is a torrent streamer. It starts downloading video/audo torrents form the begining of file and starts playing it when enough is buffered.

It could be added to the current Torrent plugin, maby.

I have 1.33Ghz 512mb system with nothing on it but GBPVR.

It is very slow in responding when using config.
Say I change something the capture menu it will 5-8min to close the window.

It take 10-20sec to go from the main menu to the tv guide.
If I select a channel in the 500's PPV on dish it can take 10min for the data to show up.

It records fine, I don't not play back on it. I use Dlink 510 appliance.

Also when the channels line up changes anything that changed says "no data available" my *.db3 is 28megs.
I have tried to disable as many channels as posible. But deleting them and/or disabling the so slow with 500+ channels in the line up.
I have reduced the number of line up channels at schedule direct to the min set, but I see no change.

My CPU is not pegged - it mostly around 20-30% utilized.

Hi all

I have used GBPVR to tune the DVB-S portion of my Hauppauge HVR-3000 many times before, but for some reason on this clean install of XP it refuses to populate the EPG via the satellite. All the channels load fine and I can watch them, but there is no EPG data avilabale.

I tried using another xmltv grabber for nz, which seems gets all the data and setting the DVB-S card to use this, but same result, no guide info in GBPVR.

Is there some requirement potentially missing? I have had this working at least 5 times in the last week, but on this install it refuses to.
