Everything was recording solid for quite a while. I upgraded to 1.2.13 and recordings stopped. I scheduled a new one time recording and the folder was created in the directory, but it is empty.
I use the HDHomerun and I am pretty certain this occurred the last time I upgraded GBPVR. I think I had to rerun the channel mapping. I will try this and schedule another recording and post back.
Maybe someone can check the logs and possibly identify why this happens every time I upgrade GBPVR.
I just purchased a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR1800 and installed in my new computer today. I can't get the installer file for gbpver to be recognized by windows installer. I am not very computer savvy, so any help is appreciated.
I use what is probably a funky system to sort my movies. I give movies that start with an 'A' a number between 1000 and 1999...
Most will get 1000, then the sorting does alphabetical. But for instance, I have this:
Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story
The Continuing Story being the third in the series. (I haven't gotten the original. So, I've numbered my items likee this:
1000 An Affair to Remember
1702 Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
1703 Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story
1800 At First Sight (1999)
This also allows me to group sequels of different names. For instance:
6000 French Kiss
6100 The Fast and the Furious (1955)
6101 The Fast and the Furious (2001)
6102 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
6201 Father of the Bride
6202 Father of the Bride Part II
7000 Gone in Sixty Seconds

Here's my problem. If I'm in Manage Categories, and sorting new entries, sometimes something I didn't change get's changed.
I was recently adjusting the Category 'Enterprise', and when I went into my Movies category 'A Fish Called Wanda' was reset to -1 and a new movie I hadn't sorted ('Meerkat Manor...') had a sort I had given to one of the 'Enterprise' episodes.
Sorting and editing in .Net grids is tricky, I know, I've done it. I'm not sure where it's happening... but it's been happening for the past few versions of Movie Wiz.
I am on 1.0.15.5 now and it's still happening. Not a show stopper, if I go back and make corrections, it seems to take and eventually everything is in order again.
I am trying to see if I can find someone with Python knowledge who is willing to help in writing a plugin for XBMC that will connect to the GBPVR database. The immediate goals are not very ambitious, I was just thinking something that can connect to the database and get information for the recordings, then, sort it by user preferences, (Title, Date, Genre, etc.) When a user picks a video, the script will translate the local path to a smb path and play the video from the smb share. I have plenty of other ideas of things that can be done, but I think this will be a nice start. please reply to this thread if you are interested and have the knowledge.

Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro stick (seen in software as the 8x0e device) for OTA decoding
The problem:
It won't find a single channel
I've been through the GBPVR documentation and followed each step properly as far as I can tell. I know that the device itself works because it will properly decode in the Pinnacle software that came with it.
I currently run a Snazio with Swisscenter in my family room. My kids watch movies throughout the day. I have the set up very easy so baby sitters and family members can get everything working fairly easily (everything is controlled through a harmony 880 remote). The Snazio is set up to go directly to Swisscenter when everything is powered on. This makes it very easy to use. I have been using GBPVR to record OTA for over a year now. I recently purchased a PCH and would like to run GBPVR on it. From what I have read, the process of starting GBPVR seems a bit complicated (not for me, but for baby sitters and grand parents). I would like to turn on the PCH and go directly to GBPVR. Is there a way to simplify the entire process?
Was watching a slideshow of photos (network drive, not sure if relevant)
and the screensaver kicked in. I haven't had a chance to try and reproduce, is this a known bug?
1.2.13 using the TS Mux on UK Freeview seems to be throwing out packet streams with random contents and no connection to the recording programme, in the worst case adding 50% to the filesize.
This has symptoms suggesting tables aren't being cleared between recordings, in the following ProjectX dump I see 3 real PIDs (0x258,259,25a) and 3 bad ones (0x28A,28B,28C), as if a previous programme's PIDs are still active. I have a couple of spurious packets containing fragments of a PNG file, seems to be dumping uninitialised RAM into the bad packets.

This is happening on all 4 tuners (2x 7010i DVBT,Kworld 355U,Azurewave AD-TU200). Logs attached (don't see any problem though), if you need a full TS how big do you need the capture?
I use GBPVR for a couple of days now, and first i want to say, its an very good program i really like it.
But i have a problem with using my tv card in GBPVR.
I have an Hauppage Hvr 900 and i tried almost al settings and i have put the channels right, but still when i try live tv in GBPVR the screen goes black for a few seconds and after that it comes back to the main screen.
