I realize it probably won't work, but is there any way to use the VGA port on the IStar with MVPMCX2/GB-PVR?

My TV has a VGA input and the NMT interface runs fine with it.

I telneted in and ran mvpmcx2 -h and all the options looked like they are for standart TV outputs. This doesn't surprise me, but is there a way to "fool" it or an option that I can use?

Works correctly for live tv but not for recordings. When recording none of the values populate in the plugin's screen. When watching live they do.

During movie playback, is there a feature to skip forward/backward to a specific time?

A scrollbar like most movie players, or a goto like dvd players have is what I'm looking for. Of course I'd love it to be operable with a remote.

Hi Guys.

I just recently fixed a bad install of GB-PVR, and so I downloaded the latest revision of ZPROCESS (zprocess2.exe dated 4/4/2008).

I've got my program files tucked under
d:/program files/devnz/GBPVR

but when I run the zprocess2.exe for the first time, I get the strange popup:
76 Path not found

I click through it once, and the program prompts me for finding the recordings directory, THEN AGAIN "76 Path not found" pops up. Click through that, and the familiar paths dialog box pops up.

I can locate all I need, BUT the first line "GB-PVR Path:" shows:
C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR
and it's grey out. I cannot double-click it to reset the path to d:.

I can't find a registry setting to manually correct this.:confused:

Ideas?

A couple of the digital channels I get (KYWDT & WHYYDT) come in fine if I watch them live, but if I schedule a recording (Quick Rec or regular scheduled recording), it pixelates all over the place & when there is audio, it cuts in & out all over the place. This is not intermittent. Live TV is always excellent on these stations & recordings are always corrupt.Playback is the same on the server and on the PCH.

I tried switching to the Cyberlink mux, but recordings from these stations came up with no video - audio only, so I switched back to the TS-mux.

I just recreated this (22:35-22:36 Time frame on 5/14) - I watched a few seconds of CSI-NY live (flawless) & then did a quick record (corrupt) on channel 233 KYWDT. (TS-mux) I've attatched the logs.

I've just uploaded a new version of the plugin to the wiki.

I've removed the 'Beta' tag as nobody has come back to me screaming that it has crashed their system.

Please be aware though, that it isn't fully integrated with GB-PVR and could cause problems (see disclaimer on the wiki page).

There's nothing particularly new in this release - changes are mostly 'behind the scenes'.

If you have an existing version then please also download the skin zip file as it includes a Now/Next popup skin.

When I watch a recorded show with the PCH it like cycle backs to the beginning. I'll be watching it and then a commercial comes on so I fast forward until its over and then the show is back to the beginning. I never had this problem when using the Media MVP. Has anybody else had this problem or knows what I'm doing wrong?

i dont know if you use a popcorn hour but il ask anyway. i was using webstreams on pc and mvp no problem now i have a popcorn hour and if i use nmt gui webstreams plays fine, if i use no nmt gui playback stops after some seconds. webradio plays fine with no nmt gui im thinking maybe they play fine because the timers set in webradio i have are at 15000 and webstreams can only go as high as 10000 if this is the trouble is there anyway i can set webstreams to 15000? im happy just using webradio if i cant get webstreams working but if i can only do it with webradio is there a way to set the favorites view to icons ? a little confusing i know

Looking for some advise before I purchase the cables to hook my stuff together and get the best Audio/Video possible.

I just started to hook up everything, but am not sure on how to get audio. I have from my directv box via s-video to my HVR1600 s-video then s-video out on 6600GT to my Philips Tv, but I don't have sound. Not sure how I will connect that from the directv to computer. I will be putting a DVI to HDMI cable from my video card to TV so I have a better picture, but I would like to hear some suggestions from everyone that has experience for the best sound and picture.

Please include types of cable with or without adapters when making suggestions.

I have the system currently setup on the new version of GBPVR with the remote control working and controlling the H21 box but of course no sound on live tv.
