shortcut keys and submenu problem

I have finally got around to trying to simplifying my layout with submenus, but have been having a couple of problems. The one that I can easily reproduce is that the standard shortcut keys for the music and photo libraries - now both in (separate) submenus - no longer work, but rather take me to the recordings library screen (in yet another submenu). The computer is in use at the moment, but I can reproduce and attach logs later on/tomorrow if needed.

Finally got around to providing the logs for this. All done using remote and standard shortcut keys.

My plugins/submenus are set up as follows:

Exit
TV and Video
--Recordings
--Video Library
--DVD
--Live TV
--Search Guide
--TV Guide
Music
--Net Radio
--Music Library
--Music Library2
System
--Settings
--System
--Skin
Extras
--Photo Library
--Weather

To explain the logs, I started pvrx2 at 11.03, then:
press "recordings" button (maybe twice) and get to recordings screen.
press menu button a couple of times - only get back to tv and video subdir
press exit key to return to main menu.
press "music" button a couple of times - get to TV and Video submenu
press exit.
press "pictures" button - go to TV and Video submenu
press exit.
press "net radio" button a couple of times - go to TV and Video submenu again
press exit.
press "guide" button - go to guide.
press "recordings" button - go to recrodings.
press exit twice then quit program at 11.09.

Sorry, I didnt find time to try it.

Now is also not a good time for me to commit to trying it again - I'm really busy with work today and got to get on a plane tomorrow. If you bump me on Tuesday I should be able to find time.

Give this a go and let me know. It wont make sub menus any prettier, but the shortcuts should work.

just realized I had this problem too. Same submenu structure (approximately) Patch kind of works. After a restart of pvrx2 the first press of the shortcut button takes me to the correct submenu but not the plugin itself. Second press takes me to the plugin. After that it works fine with a single press.
Same for each plugin. Not quite right for the first two presses, fine afterwards.
The 'native' plugins e.g. live tv, recordings, and tv guide work fine.
Problem reoccurs with every restart of gbpvr.

Clean logs:
start pvrx2, press shortcut (->submenu) press shortcut again (->plugin), esc, esc (->main menu), press shortcut (->plugin).

repeated it for a few different plugins, then finally with TV guide (i think) which worked fine.

BTW the home key is a bit flakey with submenus too. Can't get a consistent result out of it at the moment. Sometimes you can't get back to full screen with out backing out of the submenus, other times it can't create a menu behind the picture and locks with video playing in a window over a blank background image, or crashes all together..
The last bit's FYI really, it's "only" the WAF. I can always keep my finger off / unmap the home button...
