OK Can some one help me, I cant seem to choose channels over 9 say if i put 21 in and it changes to channel 2

I know its a config issue in either HIP or GBPVR

Can ml2 be made to work on a client machine from a single db on the server, like Gbpvr? As an alternative could i copy the db to the client and do a find-and-replace to point to the networked files?

My system was working great and I messed up by adding another card to the mix, so I'm trying to get back to the beginning. Right now I have no video when I try to look at live tv. I've already tried to use the MVP Mpeg2DecFilter.ax It didn't work.I tried all the different settings on the playback tab. Nothing happening. WinTV works ok. I can see a picture. Can someone show me where I made a mistake? I would really appreciate it.

Hey everyone, new to these boards and new to the whole DVR thing. I am trying to get my HVR 1600 card to find QAM channels on the comcast cable. I only have the basic cable package and I know I get free QAM channels on my HDTV but my card will not pick up anything.

I have the latest drivers and I have tried the multiple QAM.INI files posted on here. No such luck getting the QAM channels to even detect.

Also even WinTV has issue detecting but once I set the settings to All Channels in WinTV then it picks up TONS of QAM channels.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

I've been a member of the GBPVR community since early 2005. I know this community has grown. So you can imagine my frustration that it still says: Most users ever online was 381, 2005-04-18 at 03:52 AM.

My friends, it's time to shatter that record once and for all. I am proposing that all users log in for 5 minutes on Wed May 14 at 13:00 GMT... what do you guys say? It is quite embarrassing that it's been over 3 years and we have yet to break that record.

I cant seem to find the right Mpeg decoder and get stuttering with GBPVR, as well as WMP. I am able to play the files with VLC no problem, and am wondering if there was a way to use the decoder of VLC to fix my problem

Thanks any help would be appreciates, as well as suggestions on muxes to use would be great. I currently have ATI and Cyberlink as well as windvd. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure how this is related, but this only happens when i have recorded 2 shows in the same night close together (although i have not recorded 2 shows far apart to test) All single recording will play back fine

What are the chances this is something worth getting, and would GBpvr have support for something like this. I am looking for a cheap USB QaM and this is what i came accross, but am a little scepticle. Any comments?

Just switching over from older computer to a new one.. Old box didn't have enough guts to run X2..

Now, I've got the new box 'live' and working out the last vew kinks.

I can record, play live tv, dvds, music, etc. all good.

BUT! If I hit pause during live TV or I turn off live preview mode, the disk thrashes for 30 seconds, X2 locks up, and then the recording service crashes and X2 frees up again. I can then restart the service and watch TV again.

Interestingly, if I press record from live tv and tell it to record to the end of the show, it's all good.

I'm running the 1.2.9 X2 on Vista Home Premium. The recording service version was uploaded by Sub in response to http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=34457 .

I have PowerDVD installed, XviD codecs, HVR-1600 connected to a cable box through SVideo connector channel control via IR.

I read the Readme text of MovieWiz. I have all my movies from a portable hard drive perfectly categorized within "Manage Content" within the MovieWiz Manager. The plugin is also checked in the config file. However, when I run GBPRV.exe, the MovieWiz plugin is nowhere to be found within the main menu. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Could someone please let me know what step(s) I am missing.
