Hey, that's what I need. So I hit "download" and that's what I get:

Quick seach in the forums and I download and install version 1.7.2898.24459 .

I have 3 ways to put my computer to standby:
1. Hit PC button on MS MCE V2 remote, which uses HIP and calls for function C_SLEEP.
2. From PVRX2, go to "System" and "Standby"
3. Hit "Start" button, then "Shutdown the computer", then "Standby"
All of these methods produce the same results.

So, I hit "PC" button on my remote and I see SlimmGBPVR icon changing to Recording/Dalayed Standby. But a second or two later the computer proceeds and goes to standby anyhow. I wake it up and examine what's happening. Both PVRX2 and SlimmGBPVR claim the recording is continuing. But that's not true, no new file is being created and the existing file is finished at the time when I pressed the standby button.

My question is: Are your computers behaving correctly? If so, what mistakes did I make in configuring SlimmGBPVR?

Just run the install and that's it? Do I need to clean anything out or back anything up, or it should just work?

I am having a hard time setting up the QAM tuner on this card. It is working in Win-Tv. GB-PVR cannot find my BDA device. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I presume it transmits Component signals at best but I wouldn't be surprised if it only managed composite, in which case no good for my needs

I had everything working perfectly on my PCH (no internal drive).

I did the firmware update using the link on PCH itself, now it won't let me run any of the .cgi scripts. I can get the html file up, but when I run the scripts it jumps straight to

"request cannot be processed"

Is this a known problem?

I have had ML2 for awhile now and didn't realise it had so many features, which I have just read about on the wiki.

The things that confuse me so far is visualisations - I don't get any.

And is it possible for ML2 to handle music videos?

Here in the UK the Snooker Championship is showing live on channels 301 & 302 on DigitalTV. As the program scan doesn't pick these up as channels is there anyway i can manually add them?

I was trying out the cyberlink mpeg2 decoder that comes with the twinhan software mentioned in the thread about h.264 decoders http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=34684.
I noticed a very strange behavior, the osd never comes up and I noticed it seems to take longer to start playing the video like 5 to 10 sec vs the the near instantaneous that I get with the nvidia decoder.
Anyone have any Idea's as to why?
I really was liking the way it played the hidef 1080i stuff since that is what I have the most trouble with.

Since lyngsat logo doesnt have any - i was wondering if anyone on here has logos for TVNZ7 or Te Reo?

I have a small but irritating issue, I use my office PC for some PVRing and downloading video, it dumps it all onto a seperate shared drive in the office PC.

Downstairs I have my GBPVR rig with the aforementioned shared drive mapped to Z: or similar and I have one of the Video folders in config pointing to Z:.

Quite often in PVRX2 when I navigate to Videos then try to drill down into the Z: drive it does nothing, (like Z: doesnt exist). The easy way I have found to fix this is to alt-enter back to windows and then navigate to Z: in explorer, once this is done once I can close explorer and then browse Z: withn PVRX2 quite happily.

2 things I can think of thay may be contributing to this:

The Drive in the office machine has power saving swithced on, and as its not the drive with the OS on it regularly spins down. Maybee gbpvr doesnt send the right request to spin it up, or retry often enough (as you can see I am clueless on this stuff)

The only other thing is that upsatirs is XP pro x64, and downstairs is XP home, I seem to recall using the standard (typical) network settings when I installed them both, as a result one is part of domain MSworkgroup the other is on MShome. Could this be causing it????
