Can the Dvico Fusion HDTV5 RT Lite be set up for QAM?
I've added Fusion HDTV5 Lite (QAM) (from bda.ini) as a capture source but whenever I scan I can't pick up anything.
The card works fine with the Dvico shipped software.
I attached my Filtercheck.log file along with the config.exe-native.log file.

I have an issue with tuning into certain channels. It seems to affect channels that have two SID but otherwise same tuning info.

From looking at Net Radio I assumed (never a good idea) that any change to the contents of @nowPlaying triggered a Notify CurrentAudioTrack event.

When I run the DVB-T Radio beta, @nowPlaying displays the Station Name, but I don't get a CurrentAudioTrack event, except for the 'GBNetRadio...' one.

I've missed something, haven't I?

Like most I record more than I can watch and eventually filled my hard disk.
I thought I was being clever when I copied the contents of the overloaded disk to a new larger disk. I then renamed the new disk to the same drive letter that I had originally.
Despite renaming the disk I somehow lost the recordings data base, but much worse than this - I seem to have corrupted the mpeg files themselves. They appear to be the right length, but the time index is screwed up. The files play (in GBPVR or Windows media player) for a few minutes, but then hang up. I am unable to fast forward them and can't see more than the first half hour or so of each recording. I am completely gutted as having seen the files copy over to the new disk and checked the length, and even checked the first few seconds of the copies - I then felt confident enough to delete them from the original drive!
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Or how to avoid it next time I fill a disk and have to fit a bigger one?

Got two cards one a Technotrend budget 1500 the other a 1501 - they both show up as the 1500. Is there something I can do in the bda.ini to make them show up as seperate model numbers so I don't need a tuner 1 and tuner 2?

I use the Cyberlink Audio Decoder (PDVD7), is it possible to get a batch file to change the speaker environment from 6 speaker to headphones and back.

I would like to have a menu option in recordings and video library that can toggle between these so I can setup for when using surround sound or headphones, as at the moment if I use the headphones I just get front L & R so a lot of sound is lost

In the CONFIG.XML file I noticed the following settings in the "Misc Video Recording Settings" section. Can you tell me exactly what effect they have.

1. <WhatsNewDayCount>

2. <RetainedPreviousEpisodeDays>

I'm guessing that the first item is the number of days after being recorded that a show still appears in the "Whats New" selection in the RECORDINGS plug-in.

I'm concerned about the second item because it seems to imply an automatic deletion of programs. If that is the case, what entry can we make to disable it?

I have an older machine sitting around, and am contemplating turning it into a PVR based on GBPVR.

The specs are as follows:
P4 2.4GHZ
MSI 865PE Mobo
1 gig ram
ATI All in Wonder 9800 Pro
Hard Drives to be purchased
Tuner Card to be purchased

1. I know that GBPVR doesn't support All in Wonder cards as tuners, but would there be any problem using this card like a typical 9800Pro, that is to say, using it for hardware acceleration and video output via Component Video?
2. Any glaring issue with HVR-1600?
3. I have a Harmony that I would love to use for this system, but I don't think the IR Receiver from the All-in-Wonder works with GBPVR. Can someone confirm that? If that can't work, what are my other options?
4. And lastly, what is the maximum resolution I am realistically looking at with this system?

This has been driving me nuts for a few months now and I finally decided to fix it. Usually I can find a fix here already but no luck this time. Here it is....While watching a program either recorded or live I cannot return to the root menu unless I press stop. This used to work fine, in fact I'd see a small screen of the program I was watching while scanning through the guide. Any answers?
