Hi again. I can see that there's a box to ignore file name prefixes, but can I get it to ignore suffixes? A lot of films from popular-but-not-exactly-legal-internet sources are titled something like 'filename[year].[AC3].[DVD].uploader.avi' for example.
Without wanting to condone the use of such sites it would save a lot of time if the plugin could identify the title from this type of filename.

Hello, I seem to be missing movies when using Movie Wizard. But in MovieWiz Manager -> Manage Content , I can see all my movies. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I actually have two problems. The first is with my HD on my HVR-1600. I cannot watch HD channels for more than 30 minutes. They will randomly crash PVRX2 and I will have to manually restart the recording service in order to watch any kind of TV again. I have been unable to find anything in the logs. I can successfully watch HD TV in WinTV so I don't think it is a driver issue (I have the newest beta drivers installed from Hauppauge).
I also have another problem. Every so often it seems that pvrx2 won't tune anything when I try and watch LiveTV. WintV will tune fine but pvrx2 will just sit there with a black screen and not get anything. Sometimes this is for HD and SD channels, sometimes just SD, sometimes just HD. It is very strange. Sometimes I cannot get the LiveTV to come up but it will record the show just fine. In cases such as this this is in standard def only because my HD recordings never work. They are always rediculously slow during playback. I think this is a mux issue though.

I upgraded to v1.2.9 a couple of weeks ago without any problems but I have discovered that my secondary card (Compro VideoMate T300) is now not working (no problems in v1.0.16):

Thoroughly enjoying MW right now, but have a small request.
The screen for each movie has title, tagline, actors and THEN plot (which you have to scroll down to), in that order. When trawling for a movie, I'd like to quickly glance at the name, then plot (then actors, then tagline), so I can quickly see if I want to watch it or not.
Would it be possible to have selectable order in which each of these is shown?

I tried adding the irremote.ini commands shown in the above link manually with no luck. nothing changed. I just pasted them to the end because i didn't understand why there wasn't much under the Applications headding etc.
I'm at a loss. I cannot get the remote to work in GBPVR, but it works in WINTV app ok. I also tried the "Use Direct Access to Hauppague Remote" on the Misc tab of config but no change. Tried that with IR.exe running and not running.
What do I have to do to get the Hauppague remote working?
Will I need something like the HIP application regardless of whether I use direct access or with IR.exe?

After reading all the positive things about the MVP I thought I would be in plug-and-play heaven with this device -- no luck.
I have the Helius 86001 EM1 model from ebay. I've tried using the included dongle.bin (version 1.1.5 of gbpvr) and also the mvpmc 0.3.4 both of which WORK in the sense that I get the skin up and running and can browse around -- go to the tv guide -- go to recordings, but nothing plays. If I try to play a recording (generated on the analog side of my hvr-1600) the MVP either does nothing or it reboots. Could it be my recording settings?
Is there anyway I can try a test file of some sort?
When I go to the "Video Library" I can't seem to browse around at all. I just see the top level folders and can't play anything from there.
I can't play any MP3s using the MusicLibrary2 plugin.
Basically I can't do anything useful with my MVP.
I'm using the PVRX2.exe front end on the server side, if that matters.
Hi I have a string that I'm trying to extract a value from. The html I'm stripping from is the following:

And here is the regex I've got that does work....

The value shows up as group 2. The problem with this is I want the regex in a config file, and at the moment, when i load the config file, it complains about the '<' inside the string.
What I'd like to do is look for "You have used" ignore the '<strong>' and extract the value.
After my machine has been on for a while, I lose the OSD when playing back movies. I hit the blue button and get nothing at all. usually a reboot or restart cures it, but I am curious to see if anyone else sees this sometimes..
