The latest mvpmcx2 (19th april) is giving some strange display results. When I go into the recordings screen and navigate down in the list, the involved lines get shifted to the left. In other words, the screen gets its updates wrong.
Hey there. I'm a new user to this software but have looked at lots of different packages recently. Im having trouble getting the gui to sit right with my tv's overscan.
My Nvidia drivers wont let me adjust any overscan features whilst using it in 'hdtv' mode, essentially in component video mode. So cant do it at the driver level. I have fiddled with the "horizontalzoom" and "verticalzoom" setting which work great on the video feed, but not on the gui.
Any suggestions on getting the gui to change its proportions so its not cut-off the edge of the screen.
apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I have searched but found nothing.
I've been unable to get MVP trayicon to work for a while. Now I've installed the latest version of Searchwiz, and that has also disappeared from the list of available plugins. There are sone errors in the log which make no sense to me. This seems to be the relevant part:

I am a relative newbie to pvr's and programming and am at a loss as to why I have been unable to get live TV up and running with my capture cards. I am not familiar with most of the acronyms and the Wiki GUI's do not represent what I currently have installed which is the latest iteration of GB-PVR.
Everything installs ok but when I try to tune channels, I get error boxes coming up. Live TV tells me that I haven't set up the BDA. I am hoping that I do not have to be connected to the internet perpetually to have this program function as this would be very impracticable.
System consists of :
Asus M2A-VM HDMI motherboard
AMD 6000+ CPU
4 GB Ram
2 x Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T Plus capture cards
2 x Pioneer DVD burners
I cannot be too far away from a working unit and the answer is probably staring me in the face but I could use some help. Hopefully the zipped log files that I have uploaded may shed some light.
It's a seemingly simple task- I am trying to set up a PVR150 to get prime & juice TV, I cannot see how I can tune these channels in using config. I've already got an HVR2200 unning twin DVB-T and aside from some stability all is well, xmltvnz for the epg on windows vista. Anyone able to answer my dumb question?

I'm evaluating the GBPVR package and so far it looks very promising over other media centers due to its simplicity and clean interface. However, I cannot get it to see my Hauppauge HVR-2200 Hybrid Dual Digital/Analog Capture Card. Do I need additional drivers for GBPVR (Other media packages detect it fine)?
I am having a problem playing VBR mp3 files over my home network. All The music files are stored on a desktop computer and I can only play the mp3 files that are encoded CBR on my GBPVR based media PC. I have the same problem using other media players like winamp, media player classic and windows media player. Tried searching google but nothing seemed to help. Thought maybe someone here had an idea.
I'm looking for a few hardy souls to try out an alpha version of MLPanel for pvrx2.
Intended to be an alternative to the standard Screen Saver, MLPanel displays Album Art and stuff while you are playing music (skin by Jaggy).
You don't need to be a Music Library2 user - it works fine with the standard Music Library and Net Radio doesn't break it.
Anyone interested please PM me with an email address. It would be useful if you let me know what you use to listen to music with pvrx2 - ML, ML2, Net Radio or whatever else...
