I'm trying to setup a PC as client but liveTV remains black. I see that a .ts file is created on server side when I select a channel. File is growing that should be ok. On client side the window goes black and nothing happens.
Looking at the pvrx2.exe-native.log I see that error message:

I have an audio sync problem.
My system AMD dual processor, 2 gig memory, Nvidia 8500, Sound Blaster XFi card with fiber out to my Sony Amp.
In the Config I am using: Cyber Power DVD version 7 deluxe for video, AC3 filter for audio decoder, Sound Blaster XFi for audio render
The PVRx2 video renderer is: VMR9 CUSTOM
After of few minutes of audio sync there will even be some jerkyness in the video.
The same digital OTA input stream plays fine with the VLC and the recored stream plays fine with widows media player - it is just the real time show that has a problem.
I'm sure that this has been mentioned on here so I'll apologize for the repeat post but I did a couple searches and couldn't find anything. Are there any plans for this to be supported in GBPVR when it comes out in May?
I have searched and read a few posts, and believe that I have a problem which is not gbpvr's fault, but would still like advice on how to solve it, if anyone has any.
I have gbpvr hooked up to a 1080p sony tv, and tv works but when I try and play HD mkv files they always play at the wrong aspect ratio, with pillar boxing that should not be there. I understand that this is due to the directshow graph that is being chosen by directshow to render the file. What I want to know is how best I can determine the graph being used when GBPVR renders the file and the graph when MPC renders the file, and how I can change what gets used in the graph.
Also when launched by GBPVR none of my remotes buttons work anymore, so Ican't pause, rew, ff etc. they work with live tv.
Is there a setting I can change in the config or somewhere so that when I setup a recurring recording it does not use the 3 hours spread for this season recording I want it to record just that hour on the hour. Sometimes they run the shows back to back with old episodes coming later and season recording still picks these up. I run a tight schedule so I want it to do exactly as I want so I dont have so many conflicts. Any help? Thanks.
I recently was given a new video card. The stencil on the circuit board reads

And it has an NVIDIA logo on the PCB as well.
I can't find any information on the ASUS or NVIDIA web sites or in Google. Does anyone know how I can identify the card? And, would it perform better then the NVIDIA 6200 that I am currently using?
I am finally trying to move to PVRX2 given support for overlay manager. However, I am still working on a few things and continue to use GBPVR.exe. I have a problem after installing 1.2.9. I had the impression that gbpvr.exe did not change, but for some reason the image on the main menu do not show up with the new interface. I am still using the old BlueMCE2 skin which worked fine until last night after the install.
I am really confused as to why the new install would affect the old skin and the old interface. Any help is greatly appreciated. I still need time to switch to the new interface and need the images on the main menu for some one who cannot read English.
Last night I tried recording my first show containing commercials. To my surprise, I woke up, the file was transcoded (to XviD) but there were still commercials.
I checked my config.exe and found that "use comskip.exe" was selected in processing. I did a search of my pc and I could not find a file called comskip.exe.
I would like to have my pc remove the commercials and than convert to xvid but I'm not sure how to do this.
I checked the wiki and there a bunch of different batch files for processing and post-processing but they all talk about comskip and comclean and I'm not sure what these are or how to use 'em.
Now I'm not above fast forewarding my recordings, but It would be nice to get this thing up and running the way it's supposed to.
