Hello
I have been using the Net Radio with PVRX2 previously with no problem. I tried it again recently and it has stopped working. I have attached the log files and see this in there that looks suspicious.

I have tried a few things and browsed this forum, but no luck. I have noticed it does work with GBPVR though.
Anyone got any ideas?
Hi guys. 1st post go easy
I just bought an HVR 1600 from CC that does have QAM support.
I went to set it up in gbpvr and did a scan of all the channels. I have RCN here in PA---there are a 138 QAM channels !?!
I tried to go thru the process of mapping them but it is downright painful and I also cant tell which ones are HD or not on the little tiny preview window on GBPVR. Is there a better way ? Can someone offer me advice ?
I've been using the ATI mpeg mux and have run into some problems with my recordings stuttering. Some of them play back fine, but others stutter continually (recorded off the same channel). VLC plays back all the video smoothly, but without any audio (even if the audio works fine in PVRX2). Reading on the forum, it seems that the DVR-MS mux might provide better results. Is that the case, and if so, is there any way to repair the recordings I have already? The ATI video decoder helped my analog playback a lot, so I changed the mux at the same time. I've tried switching my audio decoder to AC3Filter, MPEG audio, and InterVideo with no change.
Also, I've run into the issue of having the audio de-sync from time to time, usually with live analog TV. Changing channels and switching back usually fixes it, but is there a way to avoid it in the first place? Thanks.
Specs: Win XP Pro SP2, HVR-1600, GeForce 8500, Pentium D 925 3.75 GHz (OC from 3.0), 2 GB DDR2-800, XFX 680i LT motherboard.
Just wanted to point out a minor issue, I've just sat here for about hour awaiting for IMGBURN to complete.... When I quit PVRX2 and looked at the desktop.
It seams a new version of IMGBurn is available.
However this managed to halt my disk writing.
I've changed imgburn to not check each time it's run but it would be nice if you can include this option into the installer.
Has anyone seen any Cable Card support for the pc's yet? I am assuming that the cable cards are a PCMCIA interface from the looks of the cards. I am in the research stages of building a new Media PC, but i want it to be compatible for HD and the digital channels that are provided to me from comcast... Without a STB. I would love to be able to acomplish this without having to go out of the digital box into the Hauppauge tuner that will accept the RGB (that is supposedly due out on the market next month) and have to use the IR blasters to change the channel on the STB. It would be great to be able to use a hauppauge 1600 or 1800 and be able to get a cable card from comcast and plug it in the computer and do whatever needs to be done to make it all just work. Obviously we all have no use for a STB if we are using GBPVR...Other than to decode the cable companies encrypted channels......
I did some looking around and I found that ATI has a tuner of some sorts that accepts the cable cards, but it is external, big, ugly, and there was not to much info or support on it, but it appeared that it supported incoming HD but knocked it back down to SD when sending it into a pc (via USB) for recording. Basically it is a STB. I just wish there was a way to consolidate it all. I am sure there will be soon enough....
Is there a method similar to PlayVideoFile(string, string, string) that will use the WMP Interop control to play the file instead of building a filter graph?
I am trying to setup GPVR with a DVB-S card pointed at bev using Schedules Direct (satellite listings for expressvu selected). When I am in the config and update the EPG I get all my channels listed.
Then I have to "map digital channels to EPG channels". After I do this and scan the satellite none of the channels map to the EPG. So this has to be done manually. This takes quite a long time as there 200 - 300 channels to map!
From my understanding GBPVR does this with cable by matching the channel names to the names in the EPG. With bev and SD they do not have the same name at all. They do however have the same channel number.
This is the tuning information, from the scan-1.cache file, for channel 256. This channel number can be found in the ~P:256~ in the tuning info.
This is from the GBPVR.DB3 file and it is the SOURCE_CHANNEL_MAPPING table.
oid channel_oid capture_source_oid source_channel_number
78 78 1 256
I was wondering if anyone would be able to write a little app, or know of one, that would be able to map the channels to the EPG.
Picture 1 is after I clicked on "update EPG".
Picture 2 is after I clicked on "map digital channels to EPG channels". And after GBPVR had scanned the satellite. This is where the channels would have automatically mapped to the EPG.
Picture 3 is after I manually mapped some channels.

Is it possible to have my Hauppauge remote/blaster (the 45-button remote) control my Dish Network receiver even if GBPVR is not running? I can change the "Default" section of IRREMOTE.INI to call HaupBlast.exe with the numeric value of the button pushed, but that only works for single digit channels. I have my tiny IR receiver mounted on a shelf (hidden) and my PVR computer and Dish receiver are in a closed wooden cabinet -- so it would be great if I (& the wife) could use the Hauppauge remote for changing channels even if GBPVR is not running (but, of course, Windows XP is still running). Currently, I have to have the cabinet door open to use the Dish remote outside of GBPVR. Yes, an RF extender is on the "wish list", but not in the budget at the moment.
I know IR.EXE is always running, so I'd think there's a way to do this, but I'm having "brain freeze" at the moment. All I need it to do is change channels based on numeric remote button presses (max 4 digit channels) -- up & down would be nice, but not an absolute requirement.
I tired putting the mpg file in C:\program files\mplayer, I tried putting all the bbdemux files in the dir with the mpg , I just can't figure it out??
