I just installed it yesterday and it seems to work. I will let you know how it is going in the next few days. But lets just say I am happy to find the alternative.
As the clock ticks down on zap2it, I'm wondering what my options are for using I-xmltv. With the new fall season approaching, the WAF will crash if we lose the new show marker. :p
I have a new Schedules Direct account and would like to go straight to that if I-xmltv for SD will be available by 9/1. I've also successfully tested the YahooXmltv with I-xmltv, which I think is the next best option for me.
I guess I'm wondering if Jim_ got an SD account and is hard at work on providing his wonderful utility for it.
I have read a lot of old posts about not being able to play DVDs on an MVP.
I have just started using GBPVR.
Can anyone tell me if the latest revision of GBPVR and a Hauppauge Media MVP (or any MVP) can be used to play a DVD folder (video_ts) located in my VIDEO LIBRARY (with or without menus).
Thanks
Steve
Is there an option to sort shows in a group by ascending or descending date/time? I have multiple recordings for a show in a group, and I like having the newest one at the top. Sometimes I don't watch the older ones, and want to be lazy and not cursor down a few times to get to the newest one.
I am fairly new to Ztools but I got it all setup and everything works very well exept transcoding avis with hebrew characters in file name. Please see attached screen shot. The error comes up as soon as I load the input file.
I get the same behaviour using the MVP (ie. Type Mismatch). Is there any way I can get this to work without having to rename all my files using english charachters?
My MVP is a rev H2 (wired). No matter what dongle is selected (1.51 or mvpmc) it doesn't seem to load properly. When using the mvpmc dongle (with no config file), with either gbpvr or Hauppauge mediasvc, I don't get any menu where I'm supposed to choose 'Emulation'. It boot straight to either GBPVR or the Hauppauge app.
Here's what's displayed when the MVP is plugged in...
1- Checking ethernet connectivity...
2- Loading application
3- Starting application
-> Screen gets black for about 4-5 seconds and then:
4- ENTER WIRED TEST MODE
5- REQUESTINGDHCP
6- Contacting servers
-> then GBPVR starts
Are steps 4 & 5 normal?
I've been having manageable glitches since .89.x, that should be fixed with newer dongles from what I've read here. Things like: image is not scaled in the inset frame, black screen when stopping a video or livetv unless the OSD is displayed, then I can see part of the menu. But with 1.0 and up, I can't get out of livetv/video when pressing 'Menu', the screening goes black.
A strange behavior in 1.0.16/PVRX2 in timeshift mode.
At the end of a program the system dumps back to the previous screen, i.e. if a program was selected from the TV Guide at the end of the program the system freezes for a few seconds then returns to the TV Guide. If Live TV was selected from the Main Menu, at the end of the program it returns to the Main Menu. It makes no difference if the program is 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 2 hours, it runs all the way to the end of the program and then dumps out to the previous state.
but this didnt work. I manually changed the extension of one of files to "aac" to which the file was displayed and it played OK (this is not recommended).
How do I get files with mp4 extensions to be visible in the list?::confused:
