I believe in previous versions of NextPVR we could add a network/networks to a list that would bypass authentication. Basically when I'm home it would be nice to access the web interfaces without authentication. Is there a way to do this on v5, or is this something that could be easily added?
In case it matters I'm running nextpvr on ubuntu server.

I have this odd issue with scheduled recordings. Quite often, but not always, I have a recording set to go overnight and it only partially records the show. Last night a basketball game recorded for just over an hour then stopped. Sometimes the entire thing will record and other times it doesn't. IPTV service I'm using is solid.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any tips.

So I moved towards the end of last year and my kodi box hadn't been on for a while.
When I set it back up, I updated HDHR and the windows machine itself. Since then I've not been able to watch live tv through Kodi. It just crashes. Whether I'm trying to watch IPTV or through HDHR.
If I try via VLC, it works ok and NextPVR records both HDHR and IPTV fine.
I've enclosed debug logs from 2 attemps at starting up Kodi and then watching IPTV and the other one with HDHR.
It is specific to that machine/maybe windows, as I've got a retropie setup, which has kodi installed and the npvr plugin, and I can watch TV fine using that.
Any advice appreciated!
EDIT: I don't seem to be able to upload attachments... dragging and dropping isn't working. Any other suggestions on where I can host the .zip files?

is created on the disk after a successful device channel scan is saved, nor when XMLTV guide successfully loads channel programing.
Failed to start requested stream message received when watch live tv tried.
If the sever or the Pi is restarted device dvb-t adapter0 (Asus u3000 DVB) with 14 channels is unavailable. A "new" device dvb-t adapter0 (Asus u3000 DVB) with no scanned channels is available.
Note: Live tv can successfully be viewed using Kaffeine.
16/1/20 Installation from .deb file - default installation, 16/1/20 new install Ubuntu server 20.10 64bit with Kubuntu desktop, Raspberry Pi4 8Gb, Samsung SSD, Asus u3000 DVB.
I wanted to always record "het blok nieuw-zeeland" since it's on multiple channels (SD and HD) and it's also repeated on the same day. So I used "Record series daily this timeslot" (which is btw not available in iOS client).
In example below there's a 5 minute difference but luckily all correct ones are recorded... but what's the max. difference and is there a way to set it?
I am working on rewriting my TV Mosaic auto top movie recording to be compatible with NextPVR, which is a .NET Core console application running on my Raspberry PI triggered once a day which scans for new movies in the EPG and checks them against IMDB. If the movie is good enough for example 10.000 votes and at least 7.0 it will get recorded. All this can be configured of course.
It uses a caching system to avoid unnecessary calls to IMDB.
I found the NextPVR EPG data in the sqlite config\npvr.db database in the EPG_EVENT table. I do a "select * from "EPG_EVENT" where description like "Film""
Is this the preferred way or is there an easy API call which get's the whole current EPG data or even filtered to some criteria?
I have Beast for my IPTV service. The Beast app for android works fine, but I get a black screen when trying to watch shows through IPTV. Recordings don't work either. The EPG guide does correctly show channels and shows. Any help is appreciated! I've officially moved away from wmc for my windows 7 htpc. I have mostly everything set up an working . Having a minor issue with nextpvr. I am able to do instant recording in kodi but it won't set anything for the future. I can exit kodi and set them on the backend but was wondering if that's the normal process.https://9apps.ooo/
