I get a popup in Kodi/Knewc (client running on server) in a window titled "NextPVR Timeout", the text in the window says "Do you want to exit UI client Y/N" when trying to "Watch" live TV from the TV Guide. There is a several second delay between selecting Watch and getting the pop-up.
Kodi and NextPVR logs attached, I tried to watch "Bandits" around 21:30.
Tonight while watching FBI, my wife rewound then fast forwarded to watch a part comskip skipped the software fast forwarded to the end then deleted the recording. it was super weird.

This seems like some slightly dodgy guide data where the description has ended up part of the title but it is the official OTA EPG entry. The full path/filename is probably too long for Windows but I'm sure NextPVR could handle this better since the log file indicates it does know "Invalid file passed", yet the program appears to be recording (and the tuner status states it is recording) but no files have been created, only the folders.
The user has no idea that the recording isn't working until they try to start playback on the "recording" entry and nothing happens. The only workaround for now is to schedule a manual recording with a shorter title (or I guess I could edit the epg data in the DB...).
Incidentally, can't the NextPVR service detect when the stream->file for in progress recordings is not working and immediately show a failed recording (or even better attempt to re-start it and/or reschedule?). This would also help with another (looks like tuner) issue I have where streams just stop randomly very shortly after starting and NextPVR doesn't seem to notice... I'm still waiting for a good example to capture logs and the partial TS for this case.

I have just installed NextPVR on my AppleTV 4K, ver 14.2.
This is the first time I use NextPVR.
After setting it up I face some problems:
- When playing a movie or line channel, how do I add the subtitles ?
- I'm able to record a program, but when I play it I'm not able to paus or fast-forward. In fact, I'm not able to do anything, not even go back one step. If I hit the menu (back) it goes all the way out to the Main screen and if I go back in it comes back to the same location where it was before. The only way to get out from playing the recorded program is to restart iOS.
It would be interesting an option to edit the devices.
I am an IPTV user, and the m3u list, although it is the same, is in another hosting source as well as the EPG. When this happens, I edit directly in npvr.db3.
I couldn't help posting this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dynalink-Andr.../981542272 since I can't imagine a cheaper ($30) 4K HDR Android TV client for NextPVR for US users. Certified Netflix is a bonus for the cheap boxes.
Using Kodi Lea, Sub's NextPVR plugin and NextPVR v5 (and before that V4) I have never been able to play in-progress recordings, I get a brief moment of the progress wheel spinning and then nothing.
Is it possible to watch an in-progress recording using Kodi and the regular NextPVR plugin or is it only possible using the Knewc addon?
If I change plugin to use Knewc is it compatible with other skins? I currently use emby and have the emby addon and embuary skin.
My NPVR (5.0.9.201026) gets only 5 of 6 DVB-T multiplex in France Paris area.
It doesn't find multiplex R2 on channel 25 (506 MHz). The tuner scan log file looks like it sees the multiplex but il's unable to read the informations included (5 channels : C8, GULLI, BFM TV, CSTAR and GULLI).
My other TV application Poutchin TV, using the same tuners, works fine with this multiplex.
Also TSReader Lite reads this multiplex fine.
Increase the scandroptime parameter in config.xml has no effect.
NPVR log files and TSReader Lite HTML file are attached.
Could someone help me to solve this issue ?
