  Tool to analyse timestamps???
Posted by: bgowland - 2007-01-09, 05:04 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (23)

Does anyone know of a tool which will analyse recordings to check the AV timestamps are OK? It must be able to handle mpeg2 AND dvr-ms files.

I've googled but haven't found anything yet.

Cheers,
Brian

Is there a way to shut off the automatic email checking. I just want to check it manually.

  Schedule Processing of Recordings
Posted by: Wylee - 2007-01-09, 03:49 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

From the config panel, I see I can schedule the processing of my recordings between certain times - is there a way I can schedule it to occur on a certain day of the week?

If not, a nice enhancement would be to specify a specific day in the week, or an interval (i.e. daily, weekly, etc...), with the included time.

Thanks!

Any reason why MCE Blaster don't work with GBPVR latest version in Vista? Won't learn og blast. Works fine with Vista MCE. No error-messages. Just don't work.

  youtube vs. break
Posted by: WerewolfTA - 2007-01-09, 03:11 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (1)

The youtube plugin is pretty cool. I like the concept of ondemand video clips freely available from my TV. The only problem is that most of the videos on youtube aren't anything that either I or the wife would ever want to see.

What would be cool would be extending the youtube plugin idea to a site with mostly good videos, like break.com. I realize that's mostly a male-oriented site, but the wife does enjoy quite a few videos from there, as well. I'd just like to throw it out there as something to consider.

Thanks. As always, gbpvr rocks!

Newbie Question - No Live TV or Guide showing
Posted by: bastet - 2007-01-09, 02:40 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

Hi
Just downloaded the latest version of GBPVR and am having difficulty with the config. I have a Pinnacle 300i card which is supported and when I set this as the capture source is appears to accept it OK and with the EPG data I downloaded shows the channels OK . I click to update the EPG and everything appears OK . I go to startup GBPVR and it says no channels have been set up!!. What am I doing wrong ? If I click on Status from the tray icon is says the capture source is sleeping! Should it be and why is it? How do I wake it up?

There doesnt seem to be a step to scan for channels anywhere and this is confusing me . The card works fine with various other software so it must be something Im missing. Please help

  Background download for youtube
Posted by: fhmanas - 2007-01-09, 02:38 PM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (5)

Is it possible to do something else like watch recordings, while youtube is still downloading. or download a youtube file and watch it later, probably in a special youtube folder designated in the recordings folder.

I lost MCE Remote Skip/Replay/Back functions with 0.99.5
Posted by: dvasco - 2007-01-09, 02:32 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

I lost MCE Remote Skip/Replay/Back functions with 0.99.5. I depend on these buttons/functions a lot with any PVR. I can use Clear in lieu of Skip but Replay/Back are lost. Since that has happened I cannot use Manual Skip either. It all works with the keyboard though. What happened? How do I fix this?

  Hauppauge 150PVR Question
Posted by: jnmsnow - 2007-01-09, 02:14 PM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (6)

I purchased a new PVR150 off of "FleaBay" it just arrived yesterday and I poped it in and when I go to set up my capture sorce and when I pick the PVR 150 it says it is not installed. When I check the box that says "only show devices on this system" (wording may be a little off) the only thing that it shows is a HVR 1500MCE and HVR 1600 both analog.

After that long intro, my question is do I need to worry? I have not hooked it up to my STB yet (that is today) but the remote works fine.
