During live TV, I do enjoy being able to just key in another channel without having to right-click for a channel list. But NextPVR does not allow a change to channel 502.2 which can only be moved to by right-clicking.
Hi all :-)
I'm not sure if it is just the latest update, but I went in to the recordings tab, and there were thousands of entries that I didn't recognise.
I checked the path for recordings and it was correct and the stuff in that folder was what I was expecting.
So I went back in to the Recording tab and changed it to List view and I can see that 99% of it is VOD from my IPTV.
Was this by design?
Is there any way of filtering it out so it doesn't show in there? (maybe a button/selection box in a future update)
I have been testing Matrix for a few days as a remote client with (I believe) NPVR PVR addon v 5.0.3 which seemed to be working well.
Today installed matrix-20200614-x64 over 20200608 which has removed the NPVR PVR addon due to incompatibility - there is now no NPVR addon listed on the kodi repository. Is there another source for the addon or am I going to have to wait a while for the NPVR addon to be updated?
There are several channels that I do not want to show in the channel guide. I don't want to delete them from the Devices listing, I just want to unselect them in the "All Channels" list. I unselect them, navigate away from the page, and then come back, however, the channels are still selected. Is there a way to save the listing so they wont show up in the channel guide?
Question 1:
Opening NPVR, and selecting LiveTV I get the msg "Unable to find ..." despite the Service being "in execution" and the device beeing active (see attachments). To resolve I have to stop & restart the Service.
Question 2:
Clicking right from Live TV and then selecting Main Menu nothing happens, if I wish to go there I can only use Ctrl-S.
Question 3:
Going to set a Man-Rec we cannot quickly select the channel (it is necessary to click a lot on the arrows), then to select StartTime and EndTime again we have to click a lot on the arrows going forward/backward 10' each time (for example, if it is 10 pm and I want to record a program that airs tomorrow from 24:00 to 1:30, I have to set Tomorrow and click 132 times for Start and 123 times for End).
Is there a more "human" solution?
I'm trying out NextPVR and like what I've seen so far. I've got one problem. I use XEEV Editor (Xtream Editor) to edit the m3u files from my IPTV provider, and use the XEEV EPG. The XEEV xmltv EPG URL fails to load (just hangs on "loading xmltv ...". The EPG link provided by the provider works ok. The format of the link provided by XEEV is https://xeev.net/en/get/epg/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Is there a fix available ? Many thanks in advance for any help.

I just purchased a Hauppague Cordcutter, and installed Nextpvr version 5. Cordcutter doc seemed to imply that Nextpvr was supported, but it can not see my cordcutter box.
Can someone help me find the missing connection or documentation?
I have switched my guide info from XMLTV to SD and am getting no data in the guide now. Emptied EPG. Deleted the xmltv reference in the source. Filled in all the SD login information. Automapped the channels to use the SD listing. Updated EPG. It appears the be grabbing SD data but then no listings when the update is done. Any ideas?
