I have searched the forums and looked in the config but I cannot find an option for autostarting after a pc reboot? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I stopped using GBPVR for a while there while I was moving, and now I am getting it re-setup at my new place. Some VERY nice looking improvements since I was last here Thanks!
I am having two issues:
Comclean first.
The MPG files do not get renamed to .clean and the commercials are still there. I have comclean set up to spit out a log and err file. the ERR file just says "Invalid range [-]" for each recording, and the log file says
"
C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr>"c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\mpgtx.exe" -j -f -o "C:\TV Recordings\Saturday Night Live\Saturday Night Live_20060513_23300101_clean.mpg" "C:\TV Recordings\Saturday Night Live\Saturday Night Live_20060513_23300101.mpg" [-]
Resulting cutpoints:
"
For each recording. I have comclean in the postprocessing.bat file as "Call comclean %1" and I have comskip running during the show with the setting in config. Comskip seems to be putting out cutpoints, I have a .log and a .txt file in the recording directory. Any ideas on that? I am using the latest version of comskip (i think) .79 something and comclean .6
Now for Renamerecordings.
It doesnt rename anything! I have it setup with a log for an output file and the log looks like this:
RenameRecording v1.1 build20051223
Title: Saturday Night Live
Argument: -t C:\TV Recordings\Saturday Night Live\Saturday Night Live_20060513_23300101.mpg
No episode name found
I tried running it manually from CMD and got the same error. I am using zap2it and have rename in my postprocessing.bat file as RenameRecording.exe -t %1 > rename.log
Any thoughts on that?
I have searched the forums for both these problems, but didnt see anyone with the same issues. Thanks for any help in advance!
I am trying to play recordings on another LAN based PC using the GB-PVR WEB interface. I can see the recordings and download them, but if try to use the "Play now" option. It askes me whether I want to open or save the relevant "M3U" file. It then tries to open with media player 10 and I get the following error message.
"A plug-in is required to correctly play the file. To determine if the plug-in is available to download, click Web Help"
I'm using 2 Hauppauge HVR-1300 freeview tuners (creates DVR-MS format recordings). What plug-in is it looking for and where can I get it ? Thanks for Help !!
I plan on updating to 97.7 later today but don't want to lose my treasured weather. Does the weather plugin still work or will it need an update? It might also be a good idea to start a thread here in with what is known to work and what doesn't. Sub started a sticky under support but it puts the onus on him to keep it updated with the PM's and he has enough to do with release 97.7 and 2.0. Pretty scary how reliant I've become on GBPVR......
When I selected 'Live TV' while I had the Hauppauge FM 'Radio' program running, instead of my normal TV image I heard a slightly amplified version of the FM radio program I had been listening to on the Hauppauge Radio. Other aspects of GB-PVR seem to be fine.
Now despite shutdowns and reboots I can't get GB-PVR to go back to the Live TV program content. I've tried inputting different channel numbers that I know refer to my off-air antenna stations but I'm stuck with the FM radio source. And my previous list of FM stations in GB-PVR have been replaced by 'X' marks. I seem to remember solving this issue before by a complete reinstall.
Is there any way short of re-installation to delete whatever file may have been corrupted and get back to my original condition. I don't mind having to run 'Config' again.
BTW I have been running Slimm GB-PVR (which strangely seems to produce two GB-PVR icons on the Taskbar), but I don't know if that's a factor.
So, I've mapped the yellow button on my 45btn hauppauge remote to F7 so I can change the screen ratio without the keyboard. Works fine.
However, when I hit another button on the remote after switching the ratio, it acts as though I've hit the yellow button again before carrying out the command. So, if it hit Yellow (F7) once to change the screen to 4:3, then hit Guide, it will change the ratio to (say) 16:9 before showing the guide on screen.
Is there a desirable size for images for the My Programs plugin? I've downloaded a few jpg images to use and they appear very pixellated on the Icon/Big Icon/Details views. Most of the images are quite large (eg. 700 x1000) so I guess resizing them would be a good idea But to what size?
Also, is there a way to add descriptions to ROMs in My Programs? The wiki doesn't say the plugin uses the MyDatabase.mdb file, so I guess adding files like {ROMNAME}.txt would not work?
Hi all - really hoping someone can shed some light here. I've done a quick search and founds similar posts, but nothing to help with my _specific_ error..
Whenever an EPG update is performed, either manually or scheduled, I get the following error:
Code:
Failure in ChannelFactory::storeChannels(): The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.
* File list is now read and maintained in the database. The first time the plug-in starts it will scan your specified video and DVD directories to build a map of file locations. This will take lots of CPU cycles. After this it will work from this list rather than rescanning disks. This should make things much faster. As long as GBPVR is always running the plug-in will notice new files being added and maintain the list in the background. If you add files when GBPVR is not running or want to rescan the directory, press the Go (F11) key.
* Added support for different users with different access privileges. This was added based on user request. I have tested this some, but I do not use it myself so it may have issues. Users and privileges are defined in the config application. To switch users at run time, press the Pause (Control Q) key. For people creating their own skins, there is a new login dialog box skin required.
* The pending recordings screens are no longer limited to just text list view but can display icons etc just like the recordings and DVD lists.
* Added genre information as a displayable item in the detailed list views. See the bluemce2 âPreview View skin.xmlâ as an example.
* When files are archived, the GBPVR database is updated with the new file location so that other recordings plug-ins should continue to work even though the file has been moved.
* Added new utility Export VA Records.exe that can be used to created a vaexport.xml file that can be imported into GBPVR to allow previously archived recordings to be made visible to other recordings plug-ins.
* Screen size is now set based on the size of the background image rather than being hardcoded to 720x480
