After setting SATIP_DEVICES=http://192.168.0.1:49000/satipdesc.xml, NExtPVR detected my AVM FRITZ!Box 6490 as SAT>IP device so that I could select one of the four integrated tuners and run a channel scan. TV is DVB-C Kabel Deutschland in Germany/Bajuwaria. There are several scan settings to choose, like "Kabel Deutschland - Ortsnetz Lingen" or various "All Countries" settings. I tried several ones, but onone of them resulted in any found channel.
At present, I do not know whether the scan settings do not match my cable operator or whether there is a general issue with the interworking between NExtPVR and AVM FRITZ!Box 6490.
Worth to note is that I also tried to add an m3u file as located at http://192.168.0.1/dvb/m3u/tvsd.m3u to the IPTV device assigned to my AVM FRITZ!Box 6490. No channels were found although the file can be properly retrieved from the given location.
Are there further restrictions to consider when confoguring AVM FRITZ!Box 6490 as SAT>IP device in NextPVR?
Today I installed and configured the latest nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64 docker image. Unfortunately I already failed when adding a device. My local network (Subnet A) is connected to a remote network (Subnet B) via a VPN tunnel. The routes are set up correctly so that I can access devices in both the local and remote network from both sides. I can run a SAT>IP client on my mobile device in Subnet A where I enter the IP address of my SAT>IP tuner located in Subnet B and I can receive the video streams from the SAT>IP tuner. Of course, automatic detection of the SAT>IP tuner does not work across the subnet boundaries.
Unfortunately, NextPVR appears to scan only the local network. I failed in finding a function or config file position at NextPVR where I could manually specfy the IP address of my remote tuner, as I could do this in my SAT>IP client app.
Does anybody know how to cope with this situation? Your help is very much appreciated.
I want to do this in stages so I can post some thing on wiki. Remember that FM analog radio devices are dead technology vendors haven't produced them since the digital migration so expect some bumps. Lucky users will find a device with linux support I haven't found one and certainly wouldn't spend money to get one. Streaming and SDR FM are the future and much easier to get working.
Anyway for stage one, I would like you to run this command and send the output
ffmpeg -list_devices true -f dshow -i dummy
ffmpeg is distributed with NextPVR and is in "C:\Program Files\NextPVR\Other"
I've been running PostProcessing.bat for years on V4 and never had an issue - at least after I got it doing what I wanted
However, On 5.0.3 and 5.0.4 it seems to only work when it feels like it. I have the batch file rename the .ts file to get rid of the date/Time suffix. and when it works it's perfect, but at the moments it only happens about 30% of the time.
It's to do with the %REC_TITLE% output.
Can you take a look and see if you can work out why it doesn't work all the time. If it works more than once, that should mean that there is nothing wrong with the coding of the file shouldn't it?

Contents of my bat file: Note, the Bold line is where it fails all the time, except for when it doesn't. If it gets past that it finishes ok. The lines in italics append HD or SD to the file for subsequent processing for commercial removal. The extra HD/SD tacked on after the.ts is to prevent the batch file looping and adding numerous _HD or _SD one after the other - they are removed on induction into the commercial removal setup. It works 100% for that part.

I have been getting the following issue when trying record GMB in a morning resulting in a failed recording. Looking at the logs i see the following repeated over and over:
Unexpected error in HTTP input source: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
Logs attached. Would be grateful for some assistance
I'm not entirely sure if it's a hardware thing, a software thing, or both, but I'd love to see FM Radio Data Service decoding in NextPVR (and while I'm at it, I'd also love to see analog FM support in NextPVR v5). BTW this app blows WinTV out of the water, and I sort of regret dropping money to license their worthless, buggy WinTV Extend software. You've done great work here!
