I've switched to powerdvd mpeg 2 decoder and overlay manger... Now i've lost the ability to change the aspect ratio! How can i re enable that?

I have comskip in the gbpvr directory and show analyzer installed...I select show analyzer yet it runs comskip!! How can i make sure show analyzer runs instead?! Uninstall comskip????

Is there any way to leave all other functions on the remote alone but change only the volume up and volume down to change the volume on my logitech Z-5500 system? I can't find anything on this in the wiki or forum search.

i have win xp service pack 2 with a Hauppauge pvr usb2 with latest driver and apps for it
downloaded and installed gbpvr GBPVR09516.msi,installs fine
except at the end i get an error saying that config.exe encountered a prob and needs to close
even after a reboot i and unable to start it
the tuner wizard seems to work and pick up channels but obviously i cant check without running the config app

i have the latest updates for winxp

any ideas

Greetings. I am currently running GB-PVR on a Pentium 4 2.4, 512mb ram, Windows xp, Audigy 2 zs.


The video I have working fine. My remote and blaster are also working okay. There's still a couple things that I need to work out in the software but that is for other threads

I can't get sound.. No matter what I do, or where I plug in the sound input, I cannot get sound. The audigy drivers are successfully installled and I could play a sound clip or something like that but that's about it. Help?

Edit: Just tried adding a sound file to the media library and it played fine.

Edit2: Whoops, I had optical out set when it was connected to my sound system... I'm going to miss that Does GB-PVR support 5.1?

Jeff.....I have music by Andre Rieu. There is one of those spcial characters (acent mark) above the in in Andre.

In music player all the tracks are read in without a problem.....however if I go to add one to the playlist or just play a track the recoding service reeboots.

Here is the log from the Music Player load process.....you can see the title is not correct....it has really weird characters in it. I am assuming this is what is causing the restart.....trying to pass these characters in as part of the directory name.

i think ive come across a small glitch:

schedule a recording, schedule another that overlaps but starts later, canceling the first with the (great!) dialog that comes up. then watching tv isnt possible in the timespan shown below ("no tuners free"). recording service says its recording the first show.

ah, and ive only got one card...

sub will the mce remote with the default eHome infrared drivers control GBPVR?
when selecting it from the dropdown list do all the buttons work?

Does GB-PVR support multiple cards in a sensible and easy to use way? In other words - will it simply split recording "conflicts" between cards without user intervention?

I couldn't find a clear note on this in the docs.

Currently using and Hauppauge 150, and could certainly grab a second...
