Config.exe has encountered a problem

and needs to close

i have win xp service pack 2 with a Hauppauge pvr usb2 with latest driver and apps for it
downloaded and installed gbpvr GBPVR09516.msi,installs fine
except at the end i get an error saying that config.exe encountered a prob and needs to close
even after a reboot i and unable to start it
the tuner wizard seems to work and pick up channels but obviously i cant check without running the config app

i have the latest updates for winxp

any ideas

Do you have .net 1.1 on your machine?

well i thought i had but it seems i had only version 2 installed
just grabbed version 1.1 now and config starts
ill play with the app when i get home from work
