Can this software co-exist with Microsoft Windows Media Center?
I would like to try this software but don't want to break my Media Center software.
Also, does this software work well with Bell ExpressVu
Ok first let me say thx guys been really enjoying this program and all the goodies that come with it.
So far I can get comskip, and comclean working fine. Then I get recordrename to work fine. If i have auto conversion to divx set to asap in the configure option in gb-pvr, it will work fine, however it interupts recordrename from being able to work because file is already in use. So I figured ok it should be fine then if I simply use the timer option in the gb-pvr configure setting to do the conversion in the middle of the night, this way it will give recordrename a chance to finish its task. However when I try this the auto conversion never starts, I'm thinking it has to do with the recordrename and the file name not being the same anymore. But with me being a noob here I searchhed the forums to see if i could figure it out but have had no luck.

I've been using video archive to move my recordings to a location on the local hard drive, now i'm running low on space, I've switched to using an external drive as my archive. is there a way to "re-archive" my existing archive to the new location? just to keep my whole archive in one place?
When I started using GBPVR two months ago, I had to establish a mechanism to show a volume meter on screen when the volume is changed from the remote. I did some research and solved the problem as follows:
1. Obtain freeware that can control volume, show onscreen meter, and accept hotkeys (this is usually hardware based, but there are software that can do it too)
2. Disable volume control in remote.ini from GBPVR
3. Create hot keys for volume UP, DOWN and MUTE
4. Program hot keys in remote.ini in the Default application section
You are basically controling the system volume regardless of the application running. GBPVR may lose focus when volume is changed, but that can be solved through the Power button discussed elsewhere in this forum.

This question is primarly for sub or anyone else, who owns a WinTV PVR-150.
I am using GB-PVR 95.16, 2 x PVR-150 and german Teletext. After a hint from sub, that german TeleText would only work with the configuration "Encoder pass-through" i changed this one.
But here are my problems:
Live TV is stuttering! My pictures lose it's synchronisation with audio and will stop after a while of watching or channel changing.
I am using currently the latest driver from the german Hauppauge Website, because the picture quality is better, then from the american one. I installed the amity2 driver upgrade too, because the lost of remote control @ nForce Chipsets after ~30 Minutes.
Which Driver/Filter are recommended for the using with Encoder-Pass-Through? Without Encoder-pass through there are no problems with picture/audio, but not TeleText too

The DirectX 9.0b replacement quartz.dll doesn't work, the version 9.0b works for me very bad, because of this i changed back to the 9.0c version.
Can some one give me a blow by blow account of how to install EPG for the UK. I don't understand all the references to grabbers and so on!
I have a Hauppauge Nova-T USB2 tuner which works fine on my laptop but the Hauppage supplied recording scheduler is not that great.

I have installed GBPVR on a fresh install on windows xp, with relevant software updates etc. including .net and Direct x 9.
I have a PVR-350 from Hauppage, with the latest software drivers and all the applications installed. I am connecting the 350 to my TV via the onboard NVIDIA graphics card because my TV has a PC Video input.
My problem is this: The picture is heavily pixelated. I have tested this card before and had no problems with the quality before. Is this something to do with my MPEG decoders? I have stuck to System Default, although I have tried many variations in the settings.
Before I invest a lot more time hacking about, can anyone point me in the right direction?
