What does this tag do in config.xml? Something keeps nuking my pending recordings one by one and this seems to keep showing up in the log about the same time.
I've converted to 95.15 today and decided to try Timeshift mode again. I've tried it on and off with each release and had the same problem with every one and it continues with 95.15.
When timeshift is started there is a noticable pause of a few frames in the video (the audio is fine) about every 30 seconds regular as clockwork. I've tried everything I can think of including most recently changing the logging level from Debug to Error --- I had thought that perhaps the logging was causing this because in Debug mode there is an entry written to the RecordingService log every 30 seconds. I changed the logging and the problem is still there.
I love GBPVR but this is really irritating me, one of the prime reasons for doing this was to get the timeshift capability.
i Cant seem to get the net radio to work i downloaded Gbpvr about a week ago and when i went ot listen to the net radio it tries to play then says failed to connect and then is says Error: Ecception of type InvalidactiveXstateException was thrown. I m sure it has something to do with my computer and not the gbpvr software but im not sure how to fix it, any ideas????
I've just installed two DVico Fusion Lite 5's in my system. I ranthe channel scan from the manufacturer sw and found quite a few channels (some suprisingly, like ESPNHD). If I try to tune them in gbpvr, they come-up just static. Now, I know I need to add some additional config info to tune these however, the suggested method using antennaweb yields fewer channels (no ESPNHD). My question: is there any way to take the DVico configs and import/manually enter it into gbpvr?
I'm having an odd problem watching live tv. My setup consists of GBPVR and a Hauppauge 250. Sometimes when I'm watching live tv, GBPVR just stops playing the live stream for no reason. It goes back to the main menu after about 30 seconds of video. When I start live tv again, I will get about 30 seconds of video then, bam, main menu. It will keep doing this until the next reboot, after which it works normally for a time and then this issue crops up again. I haven't been able to tie it to a conflict with any particular program though I'm pretty sure something like that is what's going on.
I'm looking for advice on what diagnostic steps I can take (e.g., what logs I can look in, etc) to start tracking down the source of this problem. Any advice or likely problem candidates would be appreciated. Thanks
Is there a way to designate a different path (other than the default path for recordings) for where the temporary .mpg file transcoded for the MVP will be?
On my system, whenever I am recording (Medium quality) the drive seems to be too busy for the transcoding process (360x240 ntsc-svcd -acodec copy) to run without fail. After a few seconds it gives up. When no other major process is using that drive, the transcode is fine.
The "from" file (.avi divx) is already on another drive, I have a third drive as the one I'd like to designate as the drive for the temporary .mpg to be written to.
I skimmed config.xml, didn't see anthing... Any ideas? Some kind of link maybe?
It's not really important, but could you please one nerving bug? Everytime i press the "DVD"-Button while no DVD is inserted, i get an unhandled error-message and GB-PVR closes.
Why i choose this button, thus no DVD is inserted? Now, sometimes the Remote from my Hauppauge PVR-150 is a bit laggy (because IR.exe has no High Priority which i sometimes forget to give) and i am a bit to fast.
This Error-Message is annoying.. ^^;
The options for transcoding have very little info.....which format produces the smallest file. I use nero recode to make 4.7 gb movies into about 1.5 gb mp4's that look almost identical, but I want something automated and I can't figure out if/how the built in transcoding can support something similar to this format/compression/quality?
