I'm using a Windows 2019 x64 server without a monitor for NextPVR.
All control is done over RDP

I noticed something strange with the GUI (NextPVR.exe from the client directory)
When I leave it running it maxes out my CPU usage
But only when I minimize or disconnect RDP
As soon as I see the screen (RDP) the CPU usage drops

I have never seen this kind of behavior with any other programs
The peak in the screenshot is when RDP is minimized

New to NextPVR, started in fresh with v5.  I have a Win10 system where I also have a working Ceton 4-tuner card.  Is there a way for my NextPVR installation on this box to access the Ceton tuners?

NextPVR is working fine with the HDHomeRun I have on the network, but I would like to take those tuners back for other network clients and use the local Ceton tuners for NextPVR.  Doc pointers are fine, I'm willing to dig in and experiment as necessary.

Hi.  I'm having a problem with choppy video (slo-mo for a second or two, then very fast catchup, slight skips, etc.) on some IPTV channels, even though the audio plays fine.  Currently I'm seeing this on the UK channels BBC1, ITV1, 2, 3 & 4, and Channel 5.  On the otherhand, Channels BBC2, BBC4 and Channel 4 all play perfectly fine, with excellent video.  This is using NextPVR V4.2.5 directly on my PC, with no VPN.

If I watch those same channels on my Firestick using the Tivimate or IPTV Smarters players, they all play fine, with no choppy video at all.  My current NPVR log file is attached, and I'd be happy to email you privately my m3u login credentials if that will help with troubleshooting.  Please advise.

let's start with xmltv with url not working and not automatically mapping on any system 

I checked many different sources (only manual addition of each station works correctly)

same file on linux after adding location (Add XMLTV Lineup)  XMLTV [/home/guide.xml],

/home/guide.xml   works correctly.

on Docker  adding (Add XMLTV Lineup)
/storage/nextpvr/guide.xml or different locations do not work at all

I'm considering switching my NextPVR server to a Raspberry Pi 4. I'm currently using a Hauppauge WinTV-DualHD USB tuner on a Ubuntu 19.04 system. I'd probably use the .deb installer on the Pi. Will the WinTV-DualHD work with NextPVR on the Pi?

I'm only interested in ATSC OTA recording...playback will be done using the AppleTV client. I would use a USB external hard drive for the data.

Advice/comments/opinions appreciated.

nextPVR was working fine until a week or so ago. Now it says it can't find server. Download to pc both movies and tv shows but cannot watch live TV anymore.

Hi, I'm a happy user of next pvr v5 Version: 5.0.1.191224 on Windows x64
And I can recording everything without problems except for one program
It does record a bit after the show is over but the program itself is never there
Saying I expect ~3Gb but get like 500mb

I'm dutch and its "jeugdjournaal" (news for children)
It starts 19:00 till 19:25 with 5 mins pre and post padding

In the nrecord.log you can find it at 19:30 among a ton of http errors

I deleted the schedule several times and recreated it many time with other settings
But no matter what I do it keeps failing. Help is appreciated

Having tried NextPVR V4 with Kodi my main issues seemed to be with Live TV timeshift being a bit flaky, as well as live TV being slow to start.

I'm currently trying with V5 and hear talk of using the 'New' client in Kodi for best results, but which one should I be using KNEWC or PVR.NEXTPVR and what is the difference/benefits?
