Receiving an error message: Error: Unable to load DLL (hcwIRblast.dll). This occurs when clicking on the live tv button or clicking on a channel in the tv guide. Did a search for this error message and the results told the user to select "none" in the config for the remote control. In the version of gbpvr I am using "none" is not an option. This is the latest version downloaded from the web site. Using a wintv pvr usb2 box and the remote that came with it. The os is win xp pro. Does anyone know where this file can be downloaded or where can one download a version of gbpvr that has a "none" option for remote control. Will appreciate any and all help.
I saw some threads about onscreenkeyboards and widgets from late '04. Have any "released" on screen keyboard been developed, or do we mostly end up hacking the FastFind IKeyBoardListener, IKeyBoardWidget into our projects??
I was wondering if it was possible to make a toggle in the config such that when I press pause on live tv, it goes into timeshift mode then pauses the feed. This sounds more intuitive. Imagine you were watching a show, but then really had to go...you press pause and run off only to find that it wasn't really paused. Now you didn't lose the feed, but still you had to rewind.
If we still wanted the functionality of entering timeshift without pausing then maybe use the blue button to enter timeshift mode. I know the blue button is used to show what's playing but I find that it's redundant with the green button (mini browser) since it starts at the current station.
I am using a 150 with its IR blaster to control a Dish Network box. I updated to latest Hauppauge IR driver. I can change the channel using the remote by pressing in a number and hitting enter. The channel will also change when I press channel up/down. These now work very nicely. So it seems that fundamentally, there is no hardware problem and no problem with the Hauppauge IR-blaster software driver.
But when a recording starts, the channel does not change. I deleted my old recording source and made a new recording source and still no luck. Several versions back it had been working. I can try a clean reinstall if someone can point to the postings as to how to back up the database.
I also have the problem of not having the guide not be automaticall updated from the Zap2it listings. As I indicated elsewhere, I wonder if that is somehow related to the screensaver feature, as I think I noticed that problem creep up around the same time as the feature's introduction.
Any help would be appreciated.
