OK, I admit, the title is only there to lure you into this thread :o
I intend to do some work on the automatic tuning of comskip.
Therefore I would like to receive as many as possible tuned (or simply working) ini files from you.
Please mail me your ini file and include in the mail your location and if you use PAL or NTSC. (now Comskip can autodetect the framerate its no longer visible in the ini file)
If the default ini file works for you I also would to hear that.
Other details like broadcast or cable box or other source information is welcome.
Hope to hear from you!
I do have a little problem : i can't have the detailed tv guide in GBPVR. I can have the name of the program but that's all, no more details. I runned xmltv with the "-slow" parameter and i have in my xml file a field like "<desc lang="fr">TV show details</desc>" but that doesn't not appear in the GBPVR tvguide for the corresponding tv show.
I run xmltv.exe with tv_grab_fr. I would like to have de detailed information in the GBPVR tv guide for each program I have.
Has any one ran into problems with comskip lately?
I'm using the latest ver (77 build 61) and lately it crashes all the time and seem to kill the recordings (?).
I still want to cancel the usage of it in the GBPVR configuration and see if the recordings are still cancelled after 3 seconds or so.
Hi, I just received my tuner and got the channels ready but don't know how to set up my remote so I am here seeking for help. What can I do to customize my MCE remote? Thanks
So I just installed GBPVR a few hours ago. Set it up to record and all, and then showed some of the "cool" features like the TV Guide and stuff to my brother.
Now I stepped out to cook some dinner and I knew that the stuff I scheduled to record was coming so I left it there. So while GBPVR was recording, my brother decided to watch some TV using GBPVR, now of course it won't let him because it's recording. Now he decided to watch what was recording and out pops an error message and GBPVR hangs.
I restarted the computer and tried to see what happened. I can still watch TV using GBPVR but now there's some sort of 1 inch grey bar on the bottom of the screen which "ghosts" the video showing. And I get alot of scanlines when there's some fast moving stuff showing.
I deleted all the drivers from the system using the hwclean.exe utility from hauppauge and reinstalled. Unfortunately it didn't help.
Can you guys offer any suggestions what else I can do?
I've got 2 PVR-150's (one MCE, one standard). Lately when I'm watching live TV GBPVR will pop me to the main menu when a scheduled recording starts. Here's the relevant portion of my gbpvr.exe.log. Let me know if you need to see anything else.
Hi I have had this card for 4 mos or so. But I have been unhappy with the scheduling software that came with it. I spent 3 hours reading through this forum last night tryingto figure out why I can't view live Tv with this software. I have the Hauppauge PVR 150 TO GO card. If I understand what I have been reading it sounds like I need to install Mpeg2 codec for it to work?
When I try and run live TV it gives a msg saying failed to locate configured device. Here are the specs of my Machine WIn XP pro Sp2 P4 3.0 HT 1 gig dual channel 2 120 gig drives. Here is a log that I just captured as well. NOt sure if this will help in solving my problem. Any help would be great as I consider myself somewhat technical but can't seem to figure this out. I really hate reinstalling everything for this card but that might be what is needed.
LOG:See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
