Am generally totally delighted with GB-PVR -- most of the time, it works like a dream.. I do have a problem with web-scheduling, however. I've looked through the forums, but can't find an answer to my specific problem.
I can access all the web-scheduling functions perfectly through my home network and the internet. (The only shortcoming I have with it, is that in the event of a program clash, it doesn't allow you to cancel a pre-booked slot, but just refuses to record the new request (no error message or notification - something to be improved in the next version there...).)
My major problem is that, when I click on a recording listed as "Available", it does not stream. But I can open the same recording by navigating to the folder on the PVR machine, so it's not a network problem. I have the impression that, whichever media player I use (WMP, R/Player, W/Amp and others), they are trying to download the whole file, rather than buffer and play. Eventually, after many minutes of "Connecting...", they time-out and crash.
I've gone through every possibility I can think of. If anyone has any bright ideas, I'd be really grateful for them!! If anymore info is needed on my set-up, will happily provide!!

Not sure if this goes in the General or Here in Hardware. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have 2 belkin routers one that connects to my MediaMVP and the other to my computer. Normally everything working GREAT!! Recently we have been having come power outages at our home that last about 30 mins or more. After these outages I lose wireless connection between the wireless routers. I have fix the problem about 3 time but I have not done the same thing each time to fix them. I just play with the configurations (which all seem to be correct but no wireless access) and they work. Once it took 15 minutes and the other times 5 min to fix no one thing seems to be wrong.
I have look several places for a good answer but found none.
My question for you guys is:
Has anybody else experienced this? If so what did you do to fix it?
Is there any suggestion that you gues have to fix this other than installing a battery backup to each router?
Is there another good source of info for me other that the belkin website?
I know I said I was not going to do a release this week.

Is there anything I need to do specifically so that I can show information in a small box on the screen while GBPVR is open (for example something I should inherit)? Or am I supposed to just use System.Drawing and just draw out what I want?
I do not want my own menu or plugin screens like other plugins, as my plugin will only show small information windows at the bottom of the screen based on other events, preferrably it can do this no matter what screen or mode GBPVR is in.
Finally got FM radio to work with my PVR-500MCE. Just added a new station to my FM radio, it works but can't change the name of the station. Also, scanning seems to not do anything. I was able to add in a previous version of GBPVR but the latest just does not want to change the name from UNKNOWN
I tried the latest upgrade, and it failed with this error, tried putting the old version back on still errors now. Tried uninstalling and removing everything from the directory. No luck. PLEASE PLEASE help I love this program and been using it for ages!!
The error happens when I OK from the config app.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
