I bought my MVP second-hand and I think the guy who supplied it just threw in a general-purpose adapter as it doesn't have a Hauppauge label on it. The output is rated as 6.0-7.5V.
Can anyone with an 'off-the-shelf' MVP tell me what the output voltage rating for their MVP adapter is? I wan't to replace the one I have as I think it is the cause of a nasty mains hum when playing music through my hi-fi. I've got a quality 9V adapter which I could try but I don't want to push my luck until I know the offical Hauppauge adapter voltage.
Using the TV Guide, I scheduled a Seaon Recording of Stargate SG-1 for the Friday at 8:00 timeslot only. However after I scheduled it, GBPVR scheuled a recording of every airing of Stargate SG-1 on the SCI-FI channel. And, when I tried "record every airing on this channel", GBPVR didnt schedule a recording for any airing. Any suggestions?
I would like to see the option to be able to skip ahead using the progress bar. There are many times when I have to leave and come back or power goes out or various other reasons that make it so I have to skip ahead in a show. It would be nice not not have to fast forward or do the 2 minute skip ahead to get back to where you are, especially if you are towards the end of the show.
I have done some urgently needed repairing and some performance improvements which may be of relevance to you.
The 0.68 version must have been a disapointment.

You could enable scene change and closed captions. I did/can not test CC.

Just was wondering if the keyboard shortcuts listed in the wiki page were all the available shortcuts. I use a MCE 2005 remote with girder mapped for the shortcuts.
I was watching the new Casino DVD using the default DVD Navigator and could not find any function for "return to DVD root menu" shourtcut. More and more DVD's have tons of commercials at open of the DVD that can only be skipped by pressing a key for the root menu.

New to PVRs as I installed a PVR150 yesterday. GBPVR recorded program fine but it really bogs down when trying to use playback controls like fast forward. For example, I click FF and the controls go away and it just sits there. Then the progress bar at the top finally kicks in and shows that it has FF'd seceral minutes. Just hard to control. It was slow to start up as well and I had opened several sessions before I realized they were opening. PC is a homemade with AMD Athlon 1600+ (1.4 Ghz). Hard drive is new 160 GB WD with 7200 rpm and 8 MB cache. The data partition is 130 GB with no other data on it. Rebooting after recording did not help.
Playback is jerky and I have set Norton antiivirus to exclude the folders where I keep recorded data.
SHould I use another program to play the show back? Winamp, WinTV, etc.
I use Pocket DVD wizard to convert videos I have recorded in gppvr to a format usable on my PDA. It works fine but takes quite a long time.
Can anyone tell me if I can change the recording setting in gppvr to record directly into a file format useable in a PDA, or is this a completely different process altogether?

it's the first time I installed GBPVR on my sytem and it works very fine. But I can't find any DVD Button to watch a movie. I hope there is somebody who can give me a hint what I have done wrong.
On my systen exsist a cyberlink DVD player and I selected the codecs of it in the config menue.
My TV card is a PVR350.
