I was trying to setup a dummy channel for using GBPVR to record On Demand stuff, instead of using WinTV2000. I planned on assigning channel 1 to the composite input #1, and no external tuner.
I made a seperate Capture source with;
Composite External Tuner - No Channel Changer Required.

I added a Channel #1 to only that Capture Source called "On Demand"
I can use the channel up/down buttons to go to it, but not by typing the number, or the guide, (It is obviously blank, actually missing).

Can I setup a fake xmltv for only that capture source that has a fake entry of "On Demand" that exists forever? I am using zap2it for my other sources.
I am going to try to find the format and give it a shot.

In version 0.91 scrambled channels and Twinhan DVB-T CI works. In 0.92 it doesn't. Please make it work again, I don't want to use 0.91 forever.

I have created my first plugin - a mame front end for GB-PVR. You will need to have mame already installed and working, this is just a front end.

Once you install this, you must configure it to set the paths to your mame specifics (mame executable name, image paths, etc.).

This is my first plugin, I would like it if a couple of mame users would volunteer to give this a test for me and let me know how it goes.

I am finishing up my first plugin and I am having trouble with logging. I call Logger.Verbose("data to log"), but I don't see anyplace that it was logged. Is there something else I must do to enable logging?

First of all, I'm new to GBPVR and this forum so forgive me if I've missed an obvious (to everyone else) point.

I have my TV-PC set up thus:
Win XP Pro
Hauppauge Nova-T PCI
Digiguide with web server (so I can set up recordings from elsewhere).
DTVRecord to interface Digiguide with the Nova-T.

The kit works beautifully, the family can work it, all is well.

I'd like to replace the PC under the TV with a Media MVP. This also works well, especially using the GBPVR server (without the EPG and recording functions - not as good as Digiguide) but, to set up a recording from the TV requires a web browser to view Digiguide. Is there such a plugin? How difficult would it be to produce one?

I created a Dutch traffic plugin that takes the TMC info from http://www.nozema.nl and displays it in GBPVR:

Traffic Information grabber from Nozema.nl (Dutch TMC source).

It takes the list of messages from the main page and gets the details from the links in there.

Info is presented similar to most plugins using the default Blue skin:

- Buttons on the left
- Listbox on the top right
- Detailed info on the bottom right

The information is refreshed every 10 minutes, unless forced by the user by clicking the refresh button.

There are just 2 buttons:

- Refresh: Refresh the information now
- Main Menu: go back to main menu

Navigation is simple:
- left and right keys to switch between button row and listbox.
- up and down keys to select a message.
- Esc/Home to go back


Installation
============
Copy trafficplugin.zip to your GBPVR directory ("C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr" usually) and extract the files from there.


To Do
=====
Quite some things:

- support for listbox entries that don't fit on a single row
- make it skinnable and configurable (e.g. refresh rate)
- change the way the information is grabbed from using regular expressions to first 'tidy'ing the Html to Xml
- Put it on a panel

A plugin for streaming video would be great.
So I could watch some of the foreign television shows available online, .asf files (.wmv).

maybe it can already be done?

I got a problem with LiveTV not working anymore (when nothing is being recorded). But if something was scheduled for recording, it can timeshift-it so that I can view it...

Sub, I just found this. It looks like, when a conflict exists, if you delete the program that is in conflict but appears under Pending, the conflict will remain in the Conflicts section. If you click Resolve, it does not list a program to cancel. I'm not sure if, because the program stays in the conflict section, it won't record...I haven't tested that far, yet.

I've tried to follow the instructions for getting the MyVideosDemuxing to work. I've looked through the previous posts and through wiki but I must not have something right.

I'm not using the dvd buring functions in my videos as I have another program to burn to dvds. Do I need to enable these functions in the GB-PVR plugin config?

It looks like my postprocessing.bat is working as the demux_queue.txt is generated with my movies in there.

For my postupdateepg.bat file, I took out the del "D:\temp\demux.ajb" for testing and I did see the demux.ajb file in there. I don't get any errors in the postupdateepg.bat when I watch it, but the demux program just doesn't seem to be working as the files that should be demuxed aren't changed at all.

Are there any problems in my batch files?
Do I need to do anything with the file in the gui folder (PVAStrumento.exe) that I downloaded? I do have the cPVAS.exe file in the cmdshell folder as shown above. Did I even need these PVAStrumento programs if I'm not using GB-PVR to burn dvd's?
Do I need to download any other programs (DVDDecripter?, etc.)

I really want this demuxing to work so it will cut down time on dvd burning as I record a lot of movies.

What am I missing? :confused:
