Anyone else having problems running the plugin lately (in the past 12 hours)... I assume it's not a plugin problem but perhaps something with the server that gives the information?
Folks,
Been playing around with GBPVRPlugInSkeleton but keep getting an error message when I try to oper in GBPVR. The error message is 'Unable to locate file /Prompt Box Skin.xml'
I have a linux server hosting all of my mp3's. When I was using the MediaMVP services, I had to run as a local user in order to access the shares via windows network.
Can I do the same with the GBPVR?
Currently I have the GB-PVR setup using the DirectV serial cable, hence I am having to have the the GB-PVR Recording Service 'Log On' as Local System and have the setting: 'Allow service to interact with desktop' set.
With the MediaMVP Service, I had to have the service 'Log On' as a local user. Which is in contrast to what the GB-PVR needs for the DTV serial control.
Just wondering if anyone is using mplayer encoder to do xvid compression. I have fiddled for hours and I was wondering if someone could post an example of encoding xvid using mplayer encoder - Basicially I am trying to modify eriks post processing system ( http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=6495 ) to encode to an xvid file. I have the latest xvid encoder etc fully installed.
I got gbpvr for one week , great program sub.
Last night i got an error on cmd.exe ? Dont know when its happend, after recording or somting else ?
When i look to the dosbox behind it itwas looking for something at the standard location of gbpvr "c:\programfiles\..."
I installed gbpvr on d:\gbpvr ?
And another "problem" I got the pvr350, and using the vidoe out.
I want also play dvd using the gbpvr menu.
Problem... when you select in the gb config that you use the hardware playback i dont get de play dvd in the menu. Yesi know that you cant play dvd trough the pvr350, but my tv got 2 intrances, so it would be easy to start a dvd using gbpvr. And then switching to the other channel.
That wil be more wive friendly
How can i get that in the menu
it would be kind of cool (require a fast processor, and mightnt work on xcard/350/mvp) but it would be cool if menus, like when exiting a plugin to main menu or vice versa, could fade out/in also when the prompt "no tuners are available please ..." it would be cool if that could fade out and video playback begin. just a nice little touch to make gbpvr look more polished.
I've just upgraded from 92.8 to 92.11, and after last night, I had a number of recordings give me 0MB mpg files. I had other recordings that seemed to work OK.
The only error I seem to be getting in my gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log is:
6/7/2005 6:00:00 PM.923 ERROR [23] Error loading ReoccuringRecordingExtras: The data value could not be converted for reasons other than sign mismatch or data overflow. For example, the data was corrupted in the data store but the row was still retrievable.
But I got this error both on successful recordings as well as 0MB ones.
The data shows up OK in the GB-PVR database, but the file simply isn't there. The log file claims the show is saved as well, but there's 0 bytes of content.
Other info: I had a comskip crash of some sort last night. My hard drive levels are low (perhaps about 2GB free), but not low enough to explain this...
I'm using GBRecord with this command:
GBRecord.exe -startr:"C:\temp\d.mpg" -seconds:30 -channel:67 -device:"Hauppauge PVR150" -instance:1 -country:61 -inputType:0
But it only runs for a second, then exits with the message "(check directory is valid)". The log file is attached.
d.mpg does not exist but c:\temp does. If I choose a file that does exist GBRecord sleeps for 30s but does not write anything to the file.
Last week when I ran GBRecord with a file that doesn't exist, it created it.
If i recreate the graph in GraphEdit capturing works fine.
