  Multituner PVR statistic
Posted by: rowyourboot - 2005-02-10, 07:26 AM - Forum: Hardware - Replies (1)

many topics starts with "HELP, can I combine card1 with card2".
To get some answers to such questions, I plane to build a list with running multituner PVR configurations.

If you have a fine working PVR with more than one cards, please sent your configuration to: http://www.pvrstat.de

The list with running multituner PVRs you can find at: http://www.pvrstat.de/4903.html

  Multiple files w/live tv?
Posted by: Jobi Wan Kenobi - 2005-02-10, 04:39 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I'm runnging the latest version. I'll be watching tv, and every minute or so the picture gets jerky, then straightens out. I've opened the Timeshifting folder, and I can see new files appear after about 20mb for the show that I'm watching. After 5 or 6 files, it will stick with just one file, or exit itself back to the main menu.
I've also noticed sometimes that when I change channels, it will set there all choppy for a bit, then switch itself either back to the main menu or back to the previous channel.

Overall, it seems to have a mind of its own. I'm not running any other software on this machine, and all drivers are up to date.

See the attached pic to see what I mean.

My specs:

-Mobo: MSI KM4AM-V
-CPU: Athlon XP 2700+
-Mem: 512mb PC2700
-Vid: Onboard SIS, using 64mb of system ram
-Tuner: Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150
-Output: SigmaDesigns XCard
HD: 160mb ata133

Thanks for any hints.

  Web TV Guide Gone Missing
Posted by: DavidJames - 2005-02-10, 04:22 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

Honest it was working earlier [Image: smile.gif]

All of a sudden I'm getting the following error:

Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /gbpvr/web/index.aspx

The URL I use (which hasn't changed is: http://192.168.0.104:7647/gbpvr/index.aspx

I'm running the Firefox browser.

I'm running the new .908 version. The only other change was to install some MS fixes this morning. I was able to view the web TV Guide afterwords (at least I think I did, but it's been one of those days).

I've reinstalled GBPVR but that didn't help.

Any thoughts.

  More Help needed
Posted by: J_L_D - 2005-02-10, 04:07 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Since I couldn't get the program guide, I thought I'd try Live TV.
Clicked on Live TV and was shocked to see:

Error:  Index was out of range.  Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.  Parameter name:  Index

This makes me think something is terribly wrong.  Does this software work with Win2K Pro?

Also, can somone point me to informatio on how to get the remote working? using PVR-150 and installed the IRBlaster and IR32 software form CD that came with disk, then used the "fix Hauppage settings" button.

Thank you.

Jim

New User - Need Help - Process EPG hangs CPU 100%
Posted by: J_L_D - 2005-02-10, 03:54 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

Everything was going OK I thought.  Followed instructions on website, setup Zap2it account, re-started, update EPG goes OK while acquiring, then when it switches to processing, CPU goes 100%, no hard drive activity, no repsonse for maybe 15 minutes.  Any help appreciated.

  jerky playback
Posted by: rennocneb - 2005-02-10, 03:28 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Ok my recordings seem to be fine but i get stutterring and a slight look of dropped frames in playback. Ive tried several mpeg2 decoders im using the PVR 150 and still same results. Could a slow harddisk be a cause? or is there something else i should be looking at.

  Recording Options
Posted by: jwthirty - 2005-02-10, 03:08 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I love GB-PVR.

Using it for a few days and find it great and user friendly.

I switched from Sage. On Sage, you can select vetweeb first run and repeats. On GBPVR, I see there is a setting for record once, record all, and record all in this timeslot on channel.

So, for instance, today I wanted to record Frontline. They replay Frontline a few times in the next day and the GBPVR has it set to record all of them (although they are the same episode). Is there a way to manage this automatically?

  XRecord & TV Show Pics
Posted by: Dubya - 2005-02-10, 02:07 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (35)

This might be a dumb question but how do you get your bloody pics in to XRecord for a given TV Show? And where can you download the Show Posters from?

Thanks,

Dubya
