Is there any kind of DAB support? I havn't had chance to use the software that much yet as im still getting parts and I don't have a DAB card myself though would be great if GBPVR supported it... I see that it supports analog tuners with the TV cards but what about DAB? would this be too hard/much different?

Was going to make a post on the requests section but thought it would be better to check first just incase there is support and I make myself look stupid

I am loving this product. Recording and scheduling work great and video quality is very good. THe only problem is that when I play back video, the window stops responding to my remote or keyboard events. I can't pause, FF, Stop I can't even exit. Even the popup controls don't respond. The only way I have found to kill the playback is to use my mouse to click on the GB-PVR tab on the taskbar and then hit the Back button my remote. I am using the following setup:

Latest GB-PVR
Problem happens in overlay or VMr7 (VMr9 not supported)
Cyberlink PowerDVD codecs


Winxp sp2
P3 1Ghz
512RAM
PVR150
i815 embedded video (maybe the problem?)

I just wondered if anyone else had run into this or had any ideas. Do I just need to ugrade to a cheap RAdeon so I can run VMR9?

download: Weather Plugin v2.21

ok ive offical released the updated Weather Plugin, version 2.21. It can be found in the wiki, so any skin developers you can now update your skins to use the new version.  Also anyone who has made translation files can you please update your translation files so they now also translate the weather plugin? heres they available translations.

the last two lines can be changed in the skin.xml as they are part of a composite image.
Also you must include #TIME# in the translation, as it is replaced by the actual time.

I have GB PVR, the latest version, and a plextor USB PVR. GB pvr used to work fine on my computer with some minor problems, it would miss a show here &amp; there because of errors, but it worked for the most part.

All of a sudden on day the TV guide is empty. I logged into zapit and everything is ok... I have not modified anything... and the listings are updated regularly. I can not use GB pvr anymore because it can not find my TV listings anymore. It shows the channel/time grid, but it is all blank (black) can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? Thanks!

In the Music folders, if you have a default.jpg in a folder, that is what is shown. I have album jpgs, but none of them are named default.jpg. It would be great if it randomly chose any jpg it finds if default.jpg is not there.

Seems like a small change, but it would be useful me thinks...

Would Replacing the standard background with any picture, say a 720x480 of Lord of the rings background. With all these different colors etc. Does this make the mvp and gbpvr more unstable?

Does the Hauppauge PVR 150 work with GB-PVR???

Is it possible to do this for MVP perhaps with a small PIP window?

The External Recording Manger is going to be a utility that can run after the Episode Guide gets updated. It will allow for Priority scheduling of recordings. This way it'll try to make sure that the recordings that you want to happen when their are conflicts actually get precedence. Also, it will verify the episode schedule against the recording schedule, and if a show is no longer appears in the episode guide at the time specified in the scheduled programs listing, then it will cancel and try to reschedule it for a later date.

There is an option in the GBPVR configuration to allow it to manage the remote control so you don't need to have the ir.exe software running.

Is anyone doing this and if so how did you get it to work?
